1.
I can see rounder's head getting bigger from here........... ;D Congrats on a good weekend!
Haha. I don't take credit for my boys. I have a good group of talented kids.
 2.

Who cares if Guidry is better than Duplant or vice versa, they both are good quality players, can't understand while several of you continue to get on the forum and bash Duplant. Get over it, good luck to both of these young men!
LOL.... Did someone create a account to talk smack?...  ;D
You consider that smack talk?
 3.
Rounder, your so cute... You looked delicious in those pants Saturday...
;)
 4.
Duplant moved school districts and wasn't eligible..... :(  And I'm sure Guidry and Duplant have alot of respect for one another.....This will be an exciting matchup.....Good Luck to you both this season.....
If HJ wants to make the playoffs, I wouldn't throw Duplant against Bridge City.  I would throw him against the other teams that will playing for the 3rd spot.
 5.
Rounder, what the hell do you know...
Not much, but what I do know is I'm gonna strike out 3 kids this weekend.  ;D
 6. Don't really know any Freshman, but I would take Shugart in a heart beat.
 7. 1. BC (without a doubt) 2. Silsbee 3. Flip a coin. I would say HJ with the addtion of Duplant, but I heard Padgett is gonna miss a significant amount of time. He is only a sophmore, but one of their best and most versatile players.
 8. We are looking for a 12u player to fill a spot on our team. We have a good group of very talented players, who have had great success last spring and this fall. We aren't looking for any specific position, however we don't have a need for a first baseman. If you would like a tryout, pm me, or call Jeff Moye at 782-4972.
 9. 1. Bridge City 2. Silsbee 3. Hardin Jefferson
 10. Scapegoat, why does it bother you so much that he will be playing at HJ this year?  As much as you have called him out in this thread, you would think you would be ecstatic that he won't be playing in Nederland this year.
 11.
Bitter by no means, tired of rounder trying to make him a victim yes.Allowing a kid to go down the road to turn his life around is the right thing to do but not to someone you have to play. This has been tried and did not work.Dylan has messed up three big times that I know of.In most baseball circles that means you are "out". He did not lose respect of his team mates until his last incident.Winning is not everything.Getting rid of someone in your program that is not doing the right things to open up a spot for a kid that is working hard and doing the right things is a good life lesson!
Wow!  I think your confused. What am I making him the victim of? "Not to someone you have to play". So it's ok, unless you have to play against him, and in that case it's not ok?  Either it's ok, or it's not ok. I could be wrong, but it sounds like your scared to have to play against him.
 12.
Duplant vs Guidry is gonna be a battle!
Definitely be a game worth watching.
 13.
I am sure Dylan will not find a baseball coach and community that is more forgiving than Nederland. One family took a gamble that most people would not dream of to help the kid turn his life around. So forgive me for feeling like he owes Ned.gratitude.As for as investment,it would not be fair to compete against someone who you made a little bit better than he was when he came to your program. He knows most of Nederlands hitters strengths and weaknesses. He also knows the teams tendencies and game plans. It would not be right to pass that information to a team in the same district as Nederland. It would sure make it easy for him to pitch against Ned.I hope Dylan lands on his feet and has a great story to tell later in his life of how he turned things around.Good Luck and Lets Play Ball!
Are you serious?  Wouldn't be fair?  Most of these kids play with and against each other in the summer and fall. Therefore, most of the players in this area know each other strengths and weaknesses. Nederland chomped at the bit when they had an opportunity to get him. Not for a chance to turn a kids life around, but because of the player he was. Don't try to take credit for him being a great ballplayer, he already was before he arrived in Nederland. With your theory, I guess Josh Hamilton shouldn't be allowed to play baseball this year. It's not fair that he knows the Rangers pitching strengths and weaknesses, as well as their tendencies. Plus he owes everything to them, since they took a chance on him right?
 14.
Rounder the shot about Robbins as a man is way below the belt IMO.I do not think you know how much Robbins tried to help the kid.He caught a lot of heat from some for giving him so many chances to clean up his act.I know he still hopes the best for Dylan but it is not going to happen in Nederland.Sometimes you have to cut a man loose!
I'm not saying that's the kind of man he is. I'm saying if he wouldn't sign a release because of the reasons stated. What do you mean Nederland had some investment in him. He is a high school kid, that happens to be a great athlete. He doesn't owe Nederland a thing.
 15.

Yes, he does have to be released regardless if it is a different district. If Nederland does not sign his release he will be out again.
If Nederland doesn't sign his release, it's chicken$&@#
We did not sign him to play in Vidor last year. Robbins knows to well to let this kid play anywhere else but NED. Robbins doesn't let a kid who has messed up so many times and keep letting him back in for no reason. He doesn't like losing the best player in the Area.
What do you mean "Robbins knows to well to let this kid play anywhere else but NED"? Who is he to decide the future of a young man? If so, I think that says a lot about what kind of man he is. Sounds like he may be bitter.

Good Luck with all of that!
Losing Brown does hurt, but we have Duplant back this year. He is just as good if not a better overall player than Brown. Solid JV guys coming up for depth and pitching. BH and Ned would be fun to watch.
8)
 18.
Remember it well. Another thing about Yancey, he is very respectfull, his parents raised a good person and athlete. Who was your son on that team? Paul Fregia is my son.
We took second in that world series. That was a fun group of boys to coach, and a bunch of very talented ballplayers. Wish all you guys the best this season.
