I would like to show y'all the comparison of discipline differences back in 1960 and in 2008! I want you to go to YouTube and put in "Life in 1960 vs 2008." This is how everything compares between those years!

Maybe I should run for political office! People need a gold ole fashioned politician who absolutely means business and all that fancy stuff is not needed! A real politician that knows what's going on anywhere and everywhere!
-
Not only it takes discipline for trying to get the upcoming high school and college grads across the country to fill positions vacated by the baby boomer generation who are retiring almost everyday so we can get this economy back on track, people need to stop spending and get out of debt and stay out of it! That's the problem in this economy is debt! Maybe everyone should take Dave Ramsey's course or Christian Financial Concepts by Crown Financial! That includes everyone who is involved in Government (local, State, and Federal)! Maybe that'll teach the US how to control spending and save! I encourage everyone to visit either http://www.daveramsey.com/ or http://www.crown.org/ We need to be disciplined in being financially stable as well!

Adults not only need to start acting like it but dress like one as well and I mean collared shirts in public! Flip flops should only be for wearing around the house, the beach, or the pool! I can't believe that parents think it's OK to let their children dress whatever they feel like dressing to church on Sunday mornings! More than 50 years ago, the majority of the men wore slacks, dress shirts, and ties as well as dress shoes to church and women wore hats and gloves as well! Now, they wear like sports jerseys, shorts, and sneakers! That would be acceptable on Sunday evening services when most pastors wear like khakis and a button-down or polo shirt on those nights! I was taught to wear my modest Sunday best! I respect that the times have changed since them but those who are Catholic and Mormon never thought it's acceptable to dress like they do to Sunday morning services! We should go back to the tradition of dressing up for church as well as eating out?

I hope FIU and FAU could join UTSA in CUSA, if it happens! Maybe TXSU and LU could take their spots!

Does BISD need a fourth high school? Is overcrowding becoming an issue in the district or is it the quality of an education is the need for one? Why the enrollment for BISD is probably dropping is because of quality! Parents who send their children to great schools is because of that. They need to halt their plans and improve the quality and fill schools to capacity!

Lamar has an advantage because they played a tougher schedule than Vermont. They faced Ohio State and Kentucky although despite not winning those games played well against two powerhouses while Vermont almost beat USF and Harvard! Both teams will come out and be ready to play!
-
He did, too. There is some former educator who retired 10 years ago takes over on an interim basis! That's on KOGT'S.com, too!
-
I would highly doubt it if LU earns a spot in the NIT if they lose.

LCM alum Kristinn Holbrooks has resigned as head volleyball coach at Orangefield in order to accept a non-teaching/non-coaching job in the North Texas area, according to the sports section of KOGT's website. As a result, the Bobcats will be looking for a new head volleyball coach.

I hoped the probation included a postseason ban for one to two years. That's what should both teams get for their involvement! Representing your school in the postseason should not be a right in my opinion!

Those Cards will stay competitive not only in basketball and football but also in every sport for many years to come! Keep it up!

Playing Sulphur as a scrimmage or during the regular season to me is a great idea! One year, Kelly and Lumberton played them during the reg. season and played well. One year, WOS, Jasper, WB, and Sulphur had a jamboree scrimmage and both played well against Sulphur! I'd love for that to happen! Hey, LCMS coach Crouch was a coach in LA before being a coach in TX and is experienced in stuff like that!

Some of WO-S' volleyball players are cheerleaders and/or members of the drill team and it's tough for them to balance volleyball and other stuff during football season! These volleyball games need to be on Saturday mornings with 9th/JV at 8 or 9 am while varsity should start at 10 or 11 am! What do you think about that?

Here's the source in regards to that:

Y'all know the reason(s) why Coach T is dismissing all of these coaches who were underperforming is that because it is his job not only as head football coach but also as athletic director for the entire school district to do so. He not only wants to the school succeed as a powerhouse in football but also in other sports as well! Like other posts mentioned, out with the old, in with the new!

I remember back in 1999 when WO-S played Lincoln fighting for the third and final playoff spot! We were scoreless until late in the fourth quarter when Lincoln scored a field goal. Then the Mustangs fought back scoring on a very big run! We held Lincoln thanks to our Chain Gain defense forcing them to punt very late in the game. Then Jamal "Tootie" Warnell committed that costly turnover on punt return in deep in our own territory forcing Lincoln to score their game-winning touchdown, making the playoffs for the first time since 1985 while the Mustangs are being forced to miss out for the first time in seven years and the second time in fifteen and trust me, seven years is a long time! People who were at the game are never going to forget that. If Tootie would have never committed that costly turnover, the 'Stangs could have won a State Championship but who cares what happened in '99. Then next year we went to the State Finals, losing to Ennis 38-24! We were heartbroken but we never went down without a fight!
-
We need someone who can be a contender like it always has been since the '80's to mid-90's! Some of those big names are out there! I predict that Jay Stone, Sam Moore, Kip McFarlin, some of those big names will be considered!
-
According to KOGT's website, the current head girls basketball coach at WO-S will not return next season! Callie Orebo has been relieved of her duties of that position so not only they will find a new head baseball coach but a new GBB coach as well! Coach Ricky Ryan, if you are reading this post, please return to WO-S if you want to!
-
Marcus Thompson, if you are reading this, come back to WO-S as head baseball coach!
-
We need to keep in mind that stuff like that doesn't happen overnight, the change is gradual!
-
Oh, well, we're probably not ready for the WAC or other FBS conferences! We'll probably need some more time to mature although we exceed the attendance of other WAC schools! Maybe one day like I said we'll be extended an invitation to rejoin the Sun Belt Conference! Anything can happen at any given moment! Just like everyone else that had been looking forward to this and as a former student at Lamar (college dropout but sooner or later I will go back and get my degree), I was not pretty thrilled about this!
-
That is really screwed! So much for the time being being FBS and boosting recruiting and student enrollment as well as bringing like BYU to PU! Maybe, we get extended an invitation to go back to the Sun Belt reuniting with ULL and ULM! I can't believe that! That is a bunch of bologna! I'm letting Comissioner Benson how much we feel about this!
