1. It may be Albritton based on what he does next season, but back in the day I remember 2 real good RB's: Kedrick Williams & Percy Hill
 2. I think the same 3 teams will make the playoffs again...
 3.
That is a horrible list then. J. Nelson not being first team is about the biggest goof I have seen on one of these lists. Here are some final stats... [glow=red,2,300]T. Sonnier 20  188      1 B. Salenga 28  444      4 J. Nelson  74  1123    12  [/glow] [move]= no brainer?[/move] it is not even close. Take away the two extra games and Nelson still had more catches, yards, and TD's than those two combined. And he is a second teamer?
In truth I really don't know much about the skill levels in this district, but what I do know is...^^^^^

 5. Congratz Bucs and get ready to face the #1 team in 2A!  Maybe an upset in the making???
 6. Great season Newton...Cameron Yoe will more than likely go on to win state and would probably win state in 3A (over K'ville) as well!  ;) :D ;D
 7. Well, it was late when I got home last night so forgive me for not posting earlier... 1)  Great season Panthers!!!  We are all very proud of you and you guys played your hearts out last night!!!  2)  If we could've defended the pass better, we win this game - credit Crockett for exposing our weakness 3)  Even though they scored most of their TD's through the air, this game was about momentum swings and Crockett was lucky enough to have a few more swings!!!  Overall, I'm sad to see the season end, but must congratulate the Bulldogs on their win...they definitely earned it and should give Tatum all kinds of trouble!  Thanks to setxsports for broadcasting AP football and hopefully we will have success next year!  What a game by Albritton yet again, and how fortunate are we to have the best returning RB in setx for next season....I'm looking forward to it already!  Now, it's time for a full-court press!
 8.
After having a while to think about the game, I think there are a couple of things to consider about that game last night.... #1- You can talk about the 'Cats defense struggling, but I'd hate to see the time of possession..... Our D was on the field a lot last night and fatigue may have set in.... It's tough to tackle a GREAT player (McGowan) when you are winded.... No knocking the defense, they kept the other team's score lower than ours and that's what it is about.... And we did have 3 picks and a TD on defense.... #2- As I mentioned in the broadcast, EVERY state title winning team has a test at some point.... There are the rare occasions when teams steam roll everyone, but those occasions are VERY rare.... Kirbyville will learn from this.... Their coaching staff is one of the best in southeast Texas.... You don't make two straight state championship games and start a third season 12-0 without having a great staff.... #3- The players will have a new level of focus next week no matter who it is.... Reading Facebook posts from Cucancic and Ford after the game, they both acknowledged that it was a close game and they will have to be better prepared next week.... To me, that makes them dangerous next week.... Don't forget, as AAW said, in the playoffs, I don't care if I win every game by 1 point, I just want to win.... P.S. --- Those of you who took the Reggie Bush comments WAY out of proportion.... I understand completely that Bush is an NFL athlete and Ford is in high school.... It was a joke, and I'm sorry that it could not be enjoyed that way...
To the house!!!!!!!  ;)
 9. They need to put decals back on the helmets, plain white just looks...well, plain!
 10.
Darrell Barbay should be in the mix somewhere
I think we'd all like him to stay in Anahuac - he's got the program heading in the right direction and the future looks bright!  Go AP!
 11. A win is a win in my book - nobody said it had to be pretty.  Congratz Katz and good luck next week!
 12.
As much as I want to say Anahuac, Crockett only lost to Coldspring 42-41 now to score 41 points on the Trojans is no small achievement this offense must be powerful and ill take Crockett in this one
That game against CS was what....9-10wks ago?  They haven't had to play anybody since then (meaning, they haven't been challenged) and with the bye last week I have a feeling we're gonna be too much for them - IMO.  There's no doubt Crockett is good, I just think we're gonna be better prepared for this game and move on to the next round. Go AP!!
 13. It's been a tough year for Newton, but they still made the playoffs - once you're there it's a new season.  While I do believe Anahuac & EC were better this year, I still think that our district play promotes better play in the playoffs (that's if you don't have to play K'ville again...2 yrs in a row!).  Looking at Cameron's district along with Crockett's district, it appears they haven't had to play anybody in a long time and I think it's to our advantage.  That doesn't necessarily mean we will win our games Friday night, but I think this will be the stiffest competition both of these teams have faced since preseason, and don't forget they're coming off bye week's as well!  Seems like our district has been in playoff mode since about week 5 and nothing would make me happier than to see AP, Newton & EC advance to the next round.  Good luck 10AA Div. I!!!!!!!
 14.
If you are close to The Woodlands and Spring, Magnolia is not too far away if you want to [move]go watch the Panthers.[/move]
This is the game to be at for sure...thought I was going to miss it, but project @ work got delayed for another week!  Whew, thank God...see you there buddy!
 15.
Strategically?
No stratidically .!! That's after you have exhausted all your stratergies...You then move into the stratidically stage... ;D
LOL - well, statistically speaking, Newton will have to play their best game of the season - OR - hope the Yoemen have their worst game of the season (they are coming off of a bye, so stratidically, that's the only + I see)...anything can happen and AP will be rooting for ya!!!
