Not taking up for the slim ball, but the incident with his kid was close to 8 or so years ago.... Now it does not surprise me that he said what he said because if you know the guy you would know what type of person he is. HE thinks he is better than everybody else....the people of mont belvieu do not. They also do not apologize for the money that the SCHOOL has. Yes there are a few that have money there, but go find out where the parents work....more than likely a plant around here. Then ask  them how many hours they work....all I'm saying is that there may be some money there, but majority are working class families who value a good education and hard work.

Just be sure to be humble BH.....it was one game against Vidor.....be proud though. This new coach will be better than gage for sure....and don't talk about a new coaching staff....still have a lot of coaches that was there with gage that are still on staff now....big difference is the head coach can motivate and has a great system ...keep building on this win...have some good kids there with a lot of heart....but don't get cocky and start spouting off how good they are gonna be....

Loosing the pride over the past 5 years is on the administration.  They hired Gage. They have the arrogance of having the stipulation that the new coach has to have a ring.....worked out well with this last coach they hired. One of BH's problems is the administration getting caught up in image.  Doesn't matter what you look like on the outside if your broke on the inside. School board should think about going after a guy that can get the kids to want to play and not worry about the political bs......worked out well for crosby.....I'm not saying you have to go out and hire a 1st time head coach, but make sure it's the right guy. Just because a guy won a ring in the 90s doesn't mean he's a good coach. Find a guy that wants to be there not one that is looking to help his retirement numbers go up. Don't help somebody pay off their lake house.... hire the guy that can truly make a difference in those kids lives, one that coaches not stands there with his arms crossed, one that motivates by actions and is there during athletics,  not one that shows up at the end and gives a 5 min speech. Go get one that relates.....as far as having big strong kids.....strong you can help....big is still genetics.....can't coach your o line to be 6'2 280......just saying

Ok....I get that most schools don't have many 4.4 guys, but the hill has 2 or 3 4.6 guys with a bunch of 5.1 guys.....I'm not saying that these kids can't win....just think that expectations are pretty high for kids that are just not very athletic. Don't think lumberton had to score late that year to beat central....you maybe remembering the following year when they lost to crosby in the 1st round. In 07 the l train beat most district opponents by a large margin.....png got them, but I don't  think it was a beat down. I know la marque was not what you would call a class act that year, but I sure don't remember them making obscene jesters to the lumberton fans,  and yes I was there. I saw both teams pre game. In fact i was there when la marque showed up. Most did throw a temper tantrum after the game though. Was a game I will never forget

have to remember that UIL never does anything logical. Why was GCM and Lee pu th in that district over Dayton ND barbers hill in the first place? The UIL gets together and figures out what is logical then does the exact oposite. Theses schools have no say so in what district they are put in.....will have to wait till February

I really tried to stay out of the coach talk about BH, but I just can't help myself....BH needs an energetic coach that will get his hands dirty with the kids, now wha g I mean by this is a coach who is there during athletics, actually coaches during practice, and can get the kids to want to play for him. I believe Price was forced out because someone in that administration building had a kid that wasn't played. But don't think that gage was their 1st choice then.......he got it after 3 others took numbers back and had their school match. That said.....still think a change needs to be made, just hope the next head coach gives those other coaches a chance cause there are some good ones there.......maybe getting soccer next year will help

don't know about Dayton, but BH hasn't extended their head coach's contract and this is his last year on that current contract.......you can read into that however you want......

They better win it all with the way they talk....or at least get 2nd. We will see what happens when they match up with a team that can match them athletically. It's funny how every year there is a team in this area that is "ranked" and their fans get on here running their mouths and when they get into the playoffs they can't get past the 3rd round.....all you did last night is beat a mediocre team from BH. Nothing against them, but to them a kid running a 4.7 is fast. I get you had some kids not playing,  but that shouldn't matter if you ranked #2 IN TEXAS.......hope you have a deep run and you better go undefeated in district cause if you don't do either your over rated.
