  1. I hope Texas high school basketball never gets a shot clock in my lifetime.

  2. I don’t do ticktock but my wife has shared many stories of how impressed soccer foreigners are to visit our country, except for the heat. Helps make us realize how good we have it.

  3. Gee, I wish we would have thought of that. I mean, 10% for the big guy ring a bell? Aw, nothing to see here. Ukraine….the most corrupt country in the world. But hey, let’s send them hundreds of $billions. No complaints about that war effort funding.

  4. Even if not a soccer fan, the U.S. play on Friday was uplifting. Reading comments from foreign tourists about America is definitely a ‘feel-good’ mentality. The most poignant news take I read from a World Cup fan/tourist was something close to “If you follow the news, you hate America. If you travel around America, you love Americans.” The MOU with Iran is a positive, even though the deal isn’t finalized, and verification is paramount. The final deal may be tougher than the conflict itself. We’ll see. But, I sense a more upbeat feeling this morning. I ran to the store real quick for some milk before all the rain really hit hard. People seemed a lot more positive, and were smiling and talkative.

  7. Not talking points, it’s what your fbi director and his assistant said prior to being sworn in to cover for the government elites kinda like this situation I can’t speak for the Epstein victims. I am sure they fear for their lives from very powerful elites if they outed one of them. I don’t think you can speak for them either but please tell everyone how there was no crime committed. Hard to prove against very powerful people….yes. Does that mean it didn’t happen no.

  8. That is all political talking points - you didn't address anything I stated......because it's hard.... I'm also not sure why I should care about evidence if 150 victims don't want to produce any.....

  9. Why don’t you ask Trumps influencers ( Kash Patel and Dan Bongino) who said they knew where the bodies were buried pertaining to the Epstein Files hypothetically speaking but once they got into the position to do anything they got amnesia. lol They were suppose to bust the Epstein Files wide open and get the perpetrators. Trump attacked the few Republicans who forced a vote on releasing the Epstein Files . Then he signed off on the Epstein Files Act. Why would you sign off on something he thought was a hoax? Why would you even care if everything got released? Because he didn’t want to embarrass himself and his friends? You can believe what you want just as I will.

    Local Murders

… and yes, 4 year olds aren’t usually that bad but you can see it coming sometimes.

    Local Murders

Geez…. So a Beaumont teen went to Houston and is accused of killing two teenagers. I don’t take solace in the fact that it didn’t happen here. Two teenagers are dead. Where they are from or where they were at the time doesn’t really matter. If convicted of Capital Murder there are only two punishments available, life in prison without parole or the death sentence. If this guy is guilty, let’s hope that he had already walked his last free days on this Earth.

    UIL on shot clock usage

Good. Hopefully it'll be fully implemented in a few years. They should have sent them film from that Silsbee/Lumberton game from a few years ago. No more trash basketball.

  16. This is my 2¢ opinion. Such shooters usually (not always) do not want to be taken alive. It is sometimes their last act of defiance. Kill as many innocent people as possible, especially if a police officer, and then before being arrested, end their life or be killed by the police so as to keep anyone from seeking retribution. It’s like, I created mayhem and killed people and there’s nothing you can do about it. Starting at Columbine, that seems to be a common motive. When Klebold and Harris figured out that they were cornered and/or had run out of easy targets, they each committed suicide. Before that the police had fired about 140 rounds. So Klebold had Harris didn’t mind exchanging fire with the police, knowing that they were eventually going to end it. In the Mildland shooting it would not surprise me either way that the police killed the shooter or (perhaps more likely) he killed himself.
