Correct. It’s really a big nothing burger conspiracy. Trump—as has been true in many cases—evidently doesn’t realize even POTUS can’t direct a judge to do something in a criminal case. Appears he still believes he can do pretty much anything he wants as POTUS. While I like many of his policies—especially the new law he recently signed that few heard about making fentanyl a Class 1 so cartels and others could really be hammered—he thinks he can do a lot of things he really cannot. Overall, I think he’s done a decent job so far in fulfilling what the voters asked. Definitely have been some hiccups along the way in some of the implementation.

Some folks don’t get satire so I just go with it, lol.

Wish I’d seen this before my last post above. But, it does follow my earlier thoughts I posted about the judges involved having records sealed. Approval would have to be given to unseal. Sounds more and more like Trump over promised and under delivered as has been the case a lot, and Bondi spoke without thinking.

I don’t know everything many of y’all do about this case because it wasn’t a primary issue affecting how our government operates, it didn’t affect national security, the economy, or immigration. But, Trump has continuously used The Deep State narrative to his advantage. This may be another time where he did, spoke in his normal overly bravado ‘tough guy’ talk, and it’s come back to bite him in the butt. Bondi—in an effort to suck up & caught up in the moment—also went overboard on her narrative. Not sure all these supposed names were ever collected except for specific cases like Prince Andrew. They apparently weren’t needed for the cases against Epstein and Maxwell. Should this be pursued? I guess so. IF the minors involved want to press any charges against the estate of Epstein. Just my thoughts.

I don’t give a crap about any of it. Trump lies. He’s a lying liar. He used the Epstein case to try and make Democrats “appear” to be Epstein’s prime clientele with zero evidence. Evidence appears, tune changes. A more pathetic man has never led our country, of that I can assure you.

Gun safety should be a requirement whether you are in an open carry state or not. I agree to a point. I don’t believe gun safety should be taught in school just the same I don’t think sex should be taught in schools. Abstinence should be taught at home like everything else. My Farther always said, ”As far as me and my house we will serve the Lord.”

Is it gun accidents that are causing the problem? I was raised around guns. My Grandfather, who us grandkids adored, would be a bad grandpa in todays atmosphere. He lived in the country, and there was a loaded gun in dang near every room. They were considered and treated likes tools, not weapons. At 9 or 10 years old, I could take the .22 rifle or 410 shotgun in the woods by myself. That was after much supervision making sure I could handle it safely. I think if you are an open carry state, they should teach gun safety in public schools. Heck, why not teach gun safety in all 50 states......Start in 5th grade and have refreshers every other year.

Not a fan of omnibus Bills. I think they’re a cop out by Congress and always lead to pork. That said, I wanted the tax cuts to stay & reduce spending to pay for them. Reps are gonna have a hard time explaining because taxes never went up again from the 2017 cuts. People won’t notice a big change except for—possibly—medical.
