Can we stop with the narrative he just happen to be there helping folks.......He's an illegal protestor twice that we know of (if true) And if true, it was just a matter of time before he would get hurt.....or dead [Hidden Content]

This is what I mentioned a few post ago - I've read articles of people that have had to use their training, and they have difficulty dealing with it. I hope I never put myself in the situation to make that choice. I'm not a huge hunter because I'm not a fan of killing animals. I will do it for meat, but never for trophy. Neighbor is a retired policeman then detective for a local police department. He used to work with the HPD Gang/Drug Task Force on special assignments occasionally. He would tell me he felt 'naked' without carrying his firearm--even on vacation. I asked him once if he'd ever had to use it. He said 'No.' He knows some of my background. He asked if I'd ever had to use my training. I told him 'Yes, and that's why I don't carry.'
