Not as much? They graduated 29 from last year. Man they lost some key players. Everyone, not saying you specific, keep talking about Breeden and his D1 commit. This kid isn't Goliath on the field towering over entire offenses. I think because it's small town football with a player with a D1 commit, spectators have this image in their head that he should be playing how these SEC guys are playing on Saturday. That's just not the case. He still has alot of growth in him.

Tough way to lose last night for the Brahmas. Took the lead late and then gave up a touchdown with thrown flag for lineman downfield that was waived off. Massive overturn by the head ref to give Columbus the TD. Sure seemed like there was some extra protection for the state’s 3AD1 No. 1 team. That Columbus OL is massive. Not sure how a 3A team is going to slow them down enough in the playoffs.

This has always been a problem for BC. They never have the size up front. And they just don't have an explosive playmaker to get something going on offense. That team last year was special. I don't think people understand those teams come around once every 20 years or so for BC.

With 9 minutes left in the game and United up 18-7, New Caney scored 18 unanswered points (11 in 4th, 7 in OT). Kudos to the Eagles for hanging in and not giving up. But this game is squarely on United. They really had no business losing this game after leading halfway thru 4th Q. Some decisions on the field and on the sidelines were head scratching to say the least. Just a bad loss for United.

Silsbee's 4 point loss to Nederland with the Tigers missing 4 starters on the defensive side doesn't look so bad now with Nederland knocking off FB Crawford. Silsbee defense with two shutouts in first 4 games. Congrats Tigers!
