Odd scheduling as East Texas A&M has played 4 games in conference, 6 teams have played 3, and LU and 2 others have played 2 games. LU (2-0,) and SFA (3-0) are the only 2 unbeaten in conference thus far. LU hosts UIW next week in the battle of red birds. UIW put a scare in SFA tonight and escaped with an overtime victory over HCU 2 weeks ago.

President Trump says he will now give a $5,000 “Trump Dividend” to every US citizen if Republicans win the midterms, rather than just US adults. On September 9th, President Trump said that only US adults would qualify for the $5,000 payment. There are ~316 million US citizens, meaning the payments would total ~$1.58 trillion. That is +$350 billion more than the previous proposal. Smh…..good grief talk about being desperate.

The middle class is gone. According to Fed data, the top 1% of Americans now control ONE-THIRD of all US net worth. Since 2020, the top 1% have gained +$30 TRILLION in net worth, while the bottom 50% are worth just $4.3 trillion. The Kobeissi Letter - Industry leading commentary on the global markets.

I thought you were a little late putting this up. 😜 Did you realize this year will be the 20th anniversary of our first meeting? LP leads the series 8-6, and 3-1 in the PO’s. -

District 9-5A D1 Thread 2026/2027
OlDawg replied to Mr. Buddy Garrity's topic in High School Football
Looking at schedules and records, I jumped the gun on being able to really nail down probable PO teams. The best I can do is say that--if PAM wins at LP--they should have a PO spot locked up as they could finish no worse than 5-3. As others with knowledge have mentioned, PAM vs. LP has historically been a very hard game to pick. LP leads the overall series 8-6, and 3-1 in the PO's. Out of the remaining games, I'd say that BU has the toughest remaining schedule followed by NC, and then RSS. All 3 still have to play PAM & LP. BU has to play at LP. Even Ball isn't totally eliminated if they run the table. There will probably be at least one logjam. It's entirely possible--if I'm looking at it right--that 4 teams could all finish with identical district records. If so, I have no clue how a 4-way tiebreak would work. Not sure if I've ever seen one, and I'm in my mid 60's...🤔 -

No one attacked any kids. If anything was attacked , it is the coaching on how to snap, how to tackle, how to throw, etc. Simply saying they need to improve in all phases of the game is what is necessary to continue winning -

You: But but what does the blue wave solve? Don’t give me everything anti-Trump. Solve some of these issues. Give me the game plan. I responded with what the democratic plan was. Its ok to disagree. Democrats win congressional majorities in the midterm elections, their plan centers on aggressive legislative roadblocks, sweeping congressional oversight, and potential impeachment inquiries targeting President Donald Trump and his administration. One thing for certain November 3, is 31 days away.
