UIL Boys State Semifinal Sites Announced

I would like a combo as well. 6A/5A at one site, 4A/3A at one site, 2A/1A at one site. Or 6A/4A, 5A/3A, 2A/1A to help with the larger crowds of 6A and 5A. 8 games per site. Play two days. I say make those sites as centrally located as possible. Of course that would depend on facilities. -

I admit that I am not happy about our state turning blue but I always thought it needed some purple shade. I believe as far as the state of Texas goes, the Democrats didn't win this election. The Republicans lost it. Republicans turned the ball over too many times, both inside the opponent 10 and near their own goal line. Costly TO's that lost them the game. One of those cases of the "better team lost".

Region I and Region II semis aren't all in DFW so i think it makes sense...the R3/R4 makeups in smaller classes is different than in 6A/5A -
I know of one who you won't be hearing from. He is currently banned for rules violations.

Have a feeling the maga cult members will be awfully quiet today.

Smashem1984 started following Nederland Bong Prop A and Nederland at Dayton Predictions

I wonder if any of our Coaching staff is at risk due to the Prop A bond not passing? I can definitely see some of our teachers and faculty moving to new districts due to this bond getting turned down by so many. I know there was a lot of optimism that this would pass and then a Athletic bond could pass within the next year to update the Nederland facilities such as the softball/baseball fields and also provide a place to workout due to inclement weather for our players. I know Rich was really pushing for this to happen and now seeing the voice of the Community could change his future goals IMO.

Maybe Trump should have promised $20,000 checks instead of $5,000. Lol

I agree.

He already has. Said Abbott being a RHINO is why he lost. SMH That dude never takes any blame. Always passing the buck.

More than anything I think this vote was a referendum against school vouchers, with a healthy dose of Trump fatigue thrown in.

Been saying this…… more company growth more people = more liberal = more problems Hollywood is already trying to move here Florida may be next good thing my ultimate kingdom is not this place

Did you Vote Yes or No? Care to provide your reason?

I never saw Abbott losing, and he lost big. A lot of talk, focus and hundreds of millions spent on the senate race. Texas has become one of, if not the top state for industry in the nation. Companies can’t move here fast enough. This may be the beginning of a slow nose dive. It makes me sad for the great state of Texas.

Yep… Tonight’s outcome isn’t about placing faith in Democrats or socialist principles; it’s about holding Republicans accountable for betraying their promises. All Republicans had to do was: 1. put Americans First 2. not start another war 3. prosecute sex traffickers - Thomas Massie
