LCM'S KICKER?

Anyone heard anything about LCM'S Kicker?  Heard he is just a Junior and is suppose to be nationally ranked.

We lost our kicker. He decided to move to Houston to play for a Select Soccer Team.

PNGFAN, yes i heard this as well...very upsetting to his teammates im sure! hopefully they can find a replacement just as good if not better! I heard they had a kid who was supposed to be an awesome kicker but he can't keep his grades up.  Seems to happen a lot to some athletes.

His name is Trent Manuel.  Found his 2014 Sophomore year highlight video.  Pretty impressive for a sophomore!

Well kicking @ the varsity level changes things.Don't believe a soph would get that kind of rating when a perfect 100 % freshman Carranco was 9-9 & 60 pats w/no miss and didn't make 1st team all-dist team in 09 ;) :o ::)

I agree.  With those kind of stats he should have made first team all-district.  Unfortunately, at the high school level, kickers aren't recognized enough and are under utlilized. If you look at the teams that go deep into the playoffs, their kickers played a vital role in getting them there.  Most good kickers aren't even given the opportunity to put up the numbers like Carranco.  Good job Dayton Coaches for making the most of your kicking game and congrats on your success in doing so.

As an LCM fan I've followed and seen Trent Manuel, great athlete and exceptional place kicker for the Bears.  Hope he has a great season.

I also got a chance to see the Carranco in the playoffs against PNG, a super impressive kicker as well.  My wish is that Manuel gets a chance to match Carranco's 60 pat's this season!  ;)
