Tigerette
That's exactly what they are trying to do WOS Grad. It's just not the parents trying to get home safely...but some of these players will be driving after their games and it could be dangerous. I applaud the schools for being cautious even though it means cancelling ballgames.

By moving the Varsity games to an earlier time, the folks that are traveling out of town can get home before it REALLY gets cold. I believe the schools will error on the side of safety here...nothing wrong with that.

Twitter is full of school early releases today and a lot of school districts are expecting to make decisions on whether or not they will close tomorrow in the next hour and a half. Newton has reported already made the decision to close school tomorrow. If they are closing school, it is doubtful they will play the games.
