How much time left?

WOW what a great district wowzer that 20-4a man they're gonna sweep us.

Crosby, Dayton Let to Play ya'lls #1 and #2 teams are struggling by the #3 and #4 teams... Seriously? GCM... Way to prove that 19-4a is a little better than everyone is giving us credit for.

20-4a is ahead your 1 and 2 seeds should win thier games my friend...
Coug, sorry but I am having trouble understanding your post. Please help me with it!
I think he is stating that the perception that 19-4A was weak is false. These two districts are pretty close in strength.
Thanks for clearing it up! ;D

Congrats Central....My son and came to cheer on the Jaguars.  We got there a little late and they said no more seats and sent us to the extra seating in the End Zone.  So we slipped over to the Visitors side where there was lots of room.

Central looked quite flat IMO.  I was surprised to see so many drops and fumbles (most of which were recovered).  But the most surprising thing was how "dead" the Goose Creek fans were tonight.  I think the most animated they got was during the Jaguar Band Performance.  Not nearly the playoff atmosphere that I was expecting.  The Central crowd sounded much more into the game, but like I said, I got booted to the other side.

Congrats again to Central.  I hope you keep winning for weeks.

GCM's front 7 are stout.  Poor play calling by the Jags and #17 dropping too many balls.  I think GCM's offense threatened the red zone once.  I'm nominating #44 Jacoby Hale as the defensive player of the week.  At least 10 tackles, 2 sacks, and numerous assist.....

GCM's front 7 were STOUT???  Their weakness is their offensive and defensive lines....they must've played one heck of a game??

Well Central couldn't run the ball consistantly on them.  GCM put 8 in the box and went man or cover 3.  Since #17 couldn't catch a cold so the defense was effective.....

#17 did have a few drops, given, but alot of em were too high
he also made a couple great catches, and extended a few drives
i think we should cut him a little slack, everyone has off games.

Yea their O-Line and D-Line have been suspect.  They have skill but never quite enough time or the guys in the trenches who could dominate.  Their QB has been pretty good throwing on the run....he's had to be.  I thought if Central let them hang around that #21 Allen might bust a big one.  I'd liked to have seen what that kid could do with a little better blocking.

#7 is the starter and had a torn patella tendon that limited him from what I understand...10 comes from some pretty good genes from what I understand but doesn't have the reps.

This was the GREATEST defensive game by the Jags and it showed on the scorboard with our first shutout of the year.  Seems familiar (hint...  Last year, first round).  #44 was called all night.  He made a lot of tackles.  About 15 that I'm counting and we was even seen covering receivers in the secondary.  If we could have gotten our hands on a few of those passes, there was paydirt all on them.  I have no problem with the defense.

Now, the offense.  I can actually side with the coach on this.  We started off running.  We couldn't run up the middle.  We couldn't run the the outside.  There were several 3 and outs...  Much credit to the Goose Creek Defense.  All our fans were yelling 'pass the ball'.  Ok, when the coach went to passing in the second half, we had players dropping OPEN passes.  Are you kidding me?  Open?  I see why our coaches run thos same running plays.  They must know that our receivers have problems catching the passes.  I guess our receivers need to take those gloves off.  Ok, you want to say that the QB was over throwing recievers?  He was hitting either hands or numbers in the second half.  No excuses.  We are lucky that our defense brought their lunch, or we could have had a bad loss.  I expect better offensive performances.  Receivers catching open passes and coaches recognizing the other team creeping 8 or 9 players in the box to stop oru running game.

I also think that our blocking on punts can be better.  There were several times tonight were it almost got blocked, which could have been disasterous.

Offense - D

Defense - A+

Special teams - A+

Game ball, #44 Jacoby Hale  Several tackles and a few sacks and pass breakups.

Just the opposite. #10 is the starter and #7 is the back-up.
Very proud of the Pats D. Kept us in the game all night. #44 from Central is a BEAST! Good luck to the Jags next week. GCM earned a little respect tonight.
