Gabe
So the two teams meeting after winning a combined 58-6, wow! And how is it better? I wouldn't think either is better than the other really. A run-rule is a run-rule unless its over a top ranked team in the district.
adminbaberuth
PNG's last two games 48-1. Talk about a fight at the bat rack.
adminbaberuth
PN-G 23, Central 1 PORT NECHES — The Port Neches-Groves Indians have been rocking the cover off the baseball lately and Tuesday night's 23-1 victory over Central was no different. The Tribe racked up 18 hits, scoring nine runs in the second, six in the third and eight more in the fourth. Hunter Denzlinger went yard twice. The first of which was a grandslam. He also had a single. Also for the Indians, Blake Reyenga had a triple and a single, Austin Stone had four singles, Austin Sangster had two singles and Matt Woods recorded two singles. Woods was also the winning pitcher. He went four innings allowed just one run on one hit, struckout seven and walked two. The one hit and the two walks all came in the first inning, which is when Central scored its only run. Woods settled down from there and then handed the fifth inning over to Chris Sweetenham, who struckout the side in order.

lcmfan
Congrats to PN-G, 23-1 better than LC-M's slaughter. Ghost, which is "better"? Winning 23-1 with your starters hitting grand slams in the fourth? Or winning 30-5 after pulling your starters after the first?

Winning 23-1 with your starters hitting grand slams in the fourth? Or winning 30-5 after pulling your starters after the first? PNG put all their subs in. They don't have enough players to take every starter out of the game.
lcmfan
That is certainly understandable. I am sorry for assuming after reading about the home runs and the four hit game by a couple of guys. We did not have enough to pull 100% either.
