AggiesAreWe Posted October 25 Report Posted October 25 This district is a little bit of a mess with now 4 teams (Hardin, Newton, New Waverly and Woodville) tied at 2-1. Massey projections has this one 28-23 Woodville Thoughts? Quote
Eazy Posted October 25 Report Posted October 25 Hardin could go from the 1 seed to the 4 seed in 2 weeks. AggiesAreWe 1 Quote
BBfan061 Posted October 25 Report Posted October 25 I’m still gonna roll with Hardin here… I don’t think Woodville will be able to throw the ball around like New Waverly did which seems to be Hardins weakness Quote
Eazy Posted October 25 Report Posted October 25 Massey is going to say Woodville by 5 and Texas Football is going to say Hardin by 5. So call it a coin flip. Quote
Setx fan Posted Monday at 03:20 PM Report Posted Monday at 03:20 PM Not sure who all will be playing for Woodville this week. A lot of it will probably depend on who's at QB, what type of gameplan the coaching staff comes up with and how well the players execute it. Probably won't be able to pass it as effectively as NW did but we should be able to do it well enough to open the run game up. Pace will be important too. I'd like to see us play at a faster pace with the no huddle. Probably gonna have to find a way to score consistantly either way cause although our defense has been decent, Hardin will probably be tougher to defend than anyone else we've played so far. Especially since I didn't see a couple guys from our defense last game. Hopefully they will be back this week Quote
GATA! Posted Wednesday at 10:50 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 10:50 PM Where the heck are all the Hardin peeps? Quote

whodat22 Posted Friday at 05:59 PM Report Posted Friday at 05:59 PM If WV will stay with the running game they have a chance. WV does not have an overabundance of size, so that may be an issue. Quote

bullets13 Posted Friday at 06:27 PM Report Posted Friday at 06:27 PM I'd feel a lot better picking woodville if Babin hadn't moved to Transfer Hill. Quote

Setx fan Posted Friday at 10:43 PM Report Posted Friday at 10:43 PM There's several kids either not playing or not being utilized correctly that would help Woodville be a better team. Babin's been gone so he's out of the picture. Esway would have been a terrific replacement with the right offensive scheme but he's dealing with injuries so we probably should have went with the freshman as the next option but I think he may be dealing with injury now also. Fowler didn't look too bad throwing the ball last game although that was against Kountze. Think I saw McDaniel at WR so that was a good sign in my opinion although I don't think he was targeted much if any at all. Also saw Becks show some playmaking abilities at wr last game. Dont remember seeing him on offense before then. We get the playmakers out on the field with the right offensive scheme and we definitely got a shot. Just have to be really tough for 4 quarters to overcome the size advantage and avoid turnovers Quote

Setx fan Posted 58 minutes ago Report Posted 58 minutes ago 7 hours ago, whodat22 said: dazzle me....what scheme A faster pace and a running game that involves multiple backs/potential ball carriers and some deception. I think maybe 17 of the first 23 offensive plays from scrimmage were handoffs to the same RB. 1 of the other 6 was a toss to that same RB, 3 of them were handoffs to the backup who relieved him for a couple plays, and 2 were wacky looking pass attempts on 3rd/4th and long Quote
