Crosby has pulled key players at this point not full scale 2nd team but the impact players are sitting the rest of this out. Same with Dayton

Crosby bigger badder and better than Dayton . Dayton could have made  it more interesting by not fumbling two times in the red zone in the first half. I do like our QB play  but he needs a lot more help   from supporting cast. ( little sophomore brother play the whole 4th qrt. will be good next year)  Looking good Crosby - good luck going forward.

Crosby is “6A” so it should look like this against a team two divisions below them. Would’ve liked to have seen this game with Poth still at DC for Dayton to really get a gauge on Crosby’s new OC but either way I think it was good work for both teams in terms of things they need to improve on moving forward.

Good win to start the season for Crosby. Most complete game I’ve seen us play in three years, very easy to see the difference in the way the kids are prepared. I don’t expect the new, young staff to be as sound as BH next week but if they somehow do walk out with a victory I think the question immediately becomes “Can Crosby win a shocker somewhere in district play?”. Either way it’s the first time Crosby has been 1-0 in eight years so already kudos to the new staff.

Last year Crosby ran the ball down the middle into the teeth of the defense 3 out of 4 plays this year Crosby used its athletes.

 Dayton had an awsome RB last year  which was hurt half the season after the Crosby game along with our QB who was hurt half the season after the Crosby game also - Crosby is head and shoulders a more dynamic team this year . While Dayton got steam rolled  it will only make them better and  more prepared for district.

He’s the defensive coordinator at Somerset now. Lol, I see Prieto did hire a couple of players off of his state finals team though.

Having a different coach explains the result. Prieto could coach circles around Willis even playing with the short stack talent wise. Not saying Coach Williams is on Coach P’s level yet but he’s at least competent enough not to get embarrassed by teams he should beat.
