PNG's defense and QB? Defense returns 7 starters. QB is going to be Ashworth. There isn't any debate on that.

You know more about it than me.  For some reason, based just on what I was hearing at the end of last season, I thought there were 2 possible QB contenders, although Ashworth did finish up the '25 season.  Same with the defense, just on hearsay I was under the impression that key DLs and linebacker(s) graduated.  Anyway, your post sounds pretty good. Maybe the 10-0 PAM prediction up above in this thread could be questionable.

I was wondering if you heard something I hadn't. Ha. Yes two middle linebackers will be replaced but there is experience there. DL will be better than last year. Same for the secondary. OLB's will be returning. Mason West is the younger QB and has a very good arm. He is a gamer. Ashworth brings a different dynamic with his athleticism and running ability. I am not sure we will beat PAM, but we do have a good season ahead of us.

PAM and PNG threads seem to sort of run together.  

Didn't intend to hijack this thread though; just looking forward to the first game.  It'll be interesting to see what happens.

It’s all good. I think and from what I heard, the transfer from png will get the nod. The soph will get some plays but those will be obvious qb run plays snh.

He's playing in a different Division. Similar to LP's players going to 6A teams. Might be different if he was transferring to another D2 team.

Coach Joseph's on the phone with Coach Todd at SOC...per Coach Todd, you have to let a player transfer out if you want a few players to transfer in...you know...for academic purposes.  Over at PN-G, we are still learning the "process" and how to be SOC-like in the transfer portal.

A great coach can win with his. And with yours. Never doubt someone who has been around a championship program basically since birth.
