It’s sad. Quote

Having two active accounts is the issue. Looks like I will have to make that decision for you. Quote

So much winning. The other problem is that the fed can’t cut interest rates (or, they shouldn’t) because a rate cut will only inflame inflationary forces. Trump’s war has not only cost billions and depleted our munitions, but also backed Trump into a corner regarding his economic plans. I’m not a what about Biden guy, but we provided a ton of munitions to Ukraine. Quote

mat Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago I always feel saying Trump is better than Biden says little to nothing. Quote

In my career and most careers, you are graded on performance and what you do to improve the "business" I grade my Presidents the same way. I grade on what they do for me/family (selfishly because my family comes before anything else) - them what they do for the Country. Despite his Oval office issues, Clinton gets good grades from me, he balanced the budget - Obama royally screwed up healthcare - and started the divide of the country with his big mouth and "beer summit" - So, he was worthless IMO. I gave two examples with mentioning current or previous President😎 baddog 1 Quote

People cry, cry, cry about Trump and said nothing about Biden or Obama, and they were two of the worst. Quote

The dems are always going to vote dem. But I always find it fascinating when the "concerned moderates" and "Never Trumpers" that "allegedly" have traditionally voted R, happily pull the lever for D. The Biden presidency was a complete disaster and a stain on our nation's history. Kamala said she'd "change nothing" about it so a vote for Kamala was effectively just an extension of the Biden embarrassment. The only explanation I can come up with for a traditional R to vote D, is that their brain has been broken by TDS and their soul corrupted with hate for the guy. I'm not getting everything I voted for (and none of us ever will), but I'm getting a lot of it. And it's infinitely better than if Kamala was in charge. baddog and thetragichippy 1 1 Quote

When the pentagon announces “we’ve spent 40 billion on this war…. Errrrr, excursion,” they’re talking about what it costs to manufacture those weapons, however long ago they were manufactured. Out cost in today’s dollars will be much, much higher than their production cost decades ago. They’re also not tallying any other cost… lost aircraft, mobilization cost, hazard pay, damage to our facilities, wear and tear, etc, etc… plus the economic cost you and I are paying every single time we pull out our wallets and pay extra. Trump’s new argument is “if you don’t agree with my spending, you must want Iran to have nukes.” If you have any doubts that Trump and company lie nonstop about the cost of everything, look no further than his 200 billion dollar ballroom. I mean, his 350 million dollar ballroom. Pardon me, his $400 million dollar ballroom, but the costs don’t matter because it’s all being privately funded. Except he needs a billion taxpayer dollars to build his ballroom. Or the 1.6 million dollar deal he got to paint the reflecting pool. Those guys have already billed 13.1 million, and they aren’t finished yet. That’s what happens when you elect someone with proven bad character and put them in charge of spending. We all get stuck holding bag. Quote
