No-look1 Posted Sunday at 03:28 AM Report Posted Sunday at 03:28 AM Been keeping an eye on Little Elm. I’m thinking they win by 12 over Cypress Springs. LE has a point guard that’s signed with the Jacks. Quote

No-look1 Posted Sunday at 04:10 AM Report Posted Sunday at 04:10 AM Seems there’s some household names that’s there every year…. I’ll be pulling for OF over London. London beat us in the state semi’s last year in baseball. Quote

I agree. I watched the London/Goliad game. Wasn't all that impressed with either team. London didn't shoot well at all, particularly from FT and 3p line. London does play very physical. But in that game, they only played about 7 players. I think Orangefield is the better and much deeper team. The key for them will be their free throw shooting because I see London fouling them a lot. Orangefield will also need to rebound the ball defensively. London likes to crash the offensive boards. I also think Orangefield can play aggressively on the defensive end because of their depth. Fouling London is not a bad strategy due to their poor FT shooting. I honestly think Orangefield could win this game by double digits but I think it will be closer. Fairfield game was much closer than I predicted. Cu Chulainn, TxHoops and QB1 3 Quote

The foul count at the half was 16 OF to 5 for FF. Total it was 24 OF to 14 for FF and their last 4 fouls were intentional to stop the clock. It was pathetic officiating that kept Fairfield in that game! I did just watch the London/Goliad game too. I think Mexia and Fairfield could beat both of those teams. Cu Chulainn 1 Quote

Not saying some fouls shouldn't have been called against Fairfield but vast majority of the fouls called against Orangefield were legit. QB1 1 Quote

Same with Huntington we got a few charge calls but decent officiating overall. We were in foul trouble early fourth I can still see that ball going into the bucket and the buzzer sounding. Quote

AP has a fantastic coach. He will make a game of it for a half. Meaning it will be less than 20 at the half. But in the end, I expect WW to win by 15+. Wouldn't surprise me if it's 25. I think the problem here was that they approached this game with a “they need to adjust to the way I am calling” rather than a calling the obvious. When OF did attack the rim they did get the same calls, but I also think that OF played much better help defense and the helper was generally who the foul was called on. Fairfield also did a lot of Iso ball and took bad shots when the help was there and I do think that rather than adjusting to the game in front of them, they called extremely tight the entire night. It’s not very often you see a varsity boys game get to the bonus every single quarter (at least in my opinion) TxHoops, AggiesAreWe, QB1 and 1 other 4 Quote

ThaGod409 Posted Monday at 03:09 PM Report Posted Monday at 03:09 PM I could be wrong because of course no team makes it this far by coincidence but I’ve watched the Alamo heights/SA VM game and I think BU can beat them by way more ! As well as WB matchup I got them by way more also Quote
