Broaddus repeats as the 1AD1 state champions, defeating Eula Clyde for the second year in a row in the finals. 52-42 final, and Broaddus is primed for a three-peat next year with their main core being entirely made up of juniors. They aren't in our coverage area, but Broaddus has been in the past, so this feels kinda local to me.

Nazareth repeats as the 1AD2 champion, defeating Saltillo comfortably.

This 2A D1 State Championship has teams that are a combined 77-2. Mason at 40-1, Panhandle at 37-1.

without a doubt, but there are many schools in texas without football who don't have near the success these schools do.
