He struggled with control the last few starts but still had better ERA than several on the staff. At best I think this was a push. I just think we needed an arm more than we needed a bat. AggiesAreWe Posted yesterday at 12:35 AM Report Posted yesterday at 12:35 AM If Javier (who got the start tonight) can do well the remaining of the season, then this can be a good trade. myrecordwashorrible and navydawg31 2 Quote

I liked Arrighetti, but he had some very early exits. We do need pitching more than OFs. Play just now…..Straw is super fast, but not that fast. Lol Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted yesterday at 02:41 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:41 AM Lose 3-1. Arlington about to lose so lead stays 2.5 to them and Seattle who are off tonight. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted yesterday at 02:43 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:43 AM Astros had 10 hits tonight but can only score 1 run. Javier actually had a quality start going 6 innings, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits. 2 K's, BB. Astro pitching did it's job tonight. myrecordwashorrible 1 Quote

AggiesAreWe Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago 7-2 win for Houston. Another quality start for an Astro pitcher. Wesneski went 6 IP, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits, 4 K's, 2 BB. Sousa and De Los Santos with 3 shutout innings. Houston has now won 12 of last 14. myrecordwashorrible, navydawg31, rupert3 and 1 other 4 Quote

I don't think he go his foot on the bag until after the tag. Even the great ones make mistakes and him not sliding was simply very bad baseball. Tough loss to take today. Real tough loss! Quote

That and the fact that Houston didn't score a run when the game was tied 3-3 in bottom of 7th and Astros had runners at 2nd and 3rd with no outs. Another good pitching game gone to waste. rupert3 1 Quote
