He struggled with control the last few starts but still had better ERA than several on the staff. At best I think this was a push. I just think we needed an arm more than we needed a bat. AggiesAreWe Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago If Javier (who got the start tonight) can do well the remaining of the season, then this can be a good trade. myrecordwashorrible 1 Quote

I liked Arrighetti, but he had some very early exits. We do need pitching more than OFs. Play just now…..Straw is super fast, but not that fast. Lol Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Lose 3-1. Arlington about to lose so lead stays 2.5 to them and Seattle who are off tonight. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Astros had 10 hits tonight but can only score 1 run. Javier actually had a quality start going 6 innings, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits. 2 K's, BB. Astro pitching did it's job tonight. myrecordwashorrible 1 Quote

Imai may end up being extremely valuable if he can replicate tonight's performance a few more times before the season ends. We shall see. Quote

baddog Posted 46 minutes ago Author Report Posted 46 minutes ago I bet we had a high LOB count tonight. Quote
