La Porte vs Port Arthur History This year’s District 9-5A D1 game will be the 34th all time meeting between La Porte and Port Arthur. La Porte first faced Port Arthur Jefferson in 1922. This rivalry dates back 104 years! This season will be the 34th game played between the two cities. I know they’re good through 2011. Had those on file and double-checked. The others, I cobbled and used Maxpreps. (I know, I know. But, it’s all I have right now.) Do you remember the score in 2015?
