but why? I voted for them some for a couple of cycles back before I had legitimate financial responsibilities. Now that I have real bills and children, I vote exclusively right, although I don't disagree with a lot of stuff that CB says on here.

That’s what’s nutty about the times we live in.  I’m a fiscal conservative, and would have been considered a pretty far right leaning conservative on social issues especially.  My opinions and beliefs haven’t changed, the political parties have.  It’s easy to recognize that the Dems have shifted way left with their LGBTQ policies, etc…. But what most of y'all fail to realize is that the Republican Party has shifted to the extreme as well.  We now approve of masked federal agents brutalizing American citizens, political leaders with the morals of an alley cat, “hate your neighbor” politics, etc… we’ve gone from the party of smaller government and God to being the party of MAGA worship. 
 

Just like in this election…. With the border effectively closed, we have to find someone to hate. Last cycle it was colony ridge, and this time it’s the Muslims that are trying to steal our country. The whole approach is just lame and appeals to the lowest common denominator- who is also the most staunch MAGA believer.

Has anyone noticed how Muslims who name streets after their kind, who bombed the twin towers killing thousands of innocent Americans, will tell you to leave their city and you’re not welcome if you challenge their street name? Also, notice the challenger is considered the hater, while the Muslim (they hate Christians/Americans by religious ideology) is innocent. Anyone who believes in that is either brain dead or is an enabler for the takeover of this country. 
Look at Mamdani. A police officer is attacked and stabbed, the officer shoots him in self defense. The attacker survives and he and the officer are in the hospital. Mamdani visits the attacker and apologizes. If you want Muslim rule after seeing that happen, then follow them and CB.
