As of Jan 6th, on the last three Presidents second term approval rating TRUMP - 43.9 BUSH - 43.6 OBAMA - 42.4 Looks to me like he has a better approval rating than 2 other popular Presidents...... We will see how it plays out for this popular president in 10 months. If special elections are an indicator and the house has a thin lead as of today it’s going to get very interesting. Quote

The fact remains that the U.S. economy represents about a quarter of global GDP and has for quite some time. Trump ain’t done jack. Quote

Whatever ground Trump and the Rs made with Hispanics in Texas is likely lost since he took office. I hope that in addition to the House, the Ds get a few more d senators. We could have Trump impeached and removed in a little over a year, if my prayers go unanswered and God doesn’t strike him down before that. But if Paxton gets nominated for Senator, I think Talarico has a shot. But I’m equally certain that the Ds will nominate Jasmine Crockett instead of Talarico, because “why anybody nominate a sane person on either side?” I have Hispanic friends (legal) who are legitimately scared of being detained by ICE. They won’t be voting for Rs this time around, I bet. Quote

According to them, 90-95% of the congregation voted Republican this last election and will still vote Republican this coming midterm. They want illegals (some are family members) out of Texas. They understand why some come here illegally (good people looking for a better life, not the criminals) but feel if they had to go through all the red tape to be here legally, then everyone should. BTW, this new market is being owned and operated by a local business man who owns a pallet company here and employs several Hispanic families that were in need of this type market. Kudos to Mr. Worthy. DCT, TheMissingBand and baddog 3 Quote

Oh yeah, Republicans still have a huge majority in the Texas Senate. Liberals….a little ripple means a tidal wave. Lmao. Quote

Flipping a reliably Republican district that Trump won by 17 points when he clinched a second presidency is something to take notice. Voters under Trump administration are motivated to reject Trumps candidates. Quote

To even have to think they might use their disruptive tactics at small businesses In small towns is appalling. AggiesAreWe 1 Quote
