Interesting bit from the article:

Hader will not throw for three weeks after being diagnosed with a left capsule shoulder strain on Friday. He will fill that time with rest and strengthening exercises and be reevaluated to see if he can resume a throwing program.

"We'll see how my body recovers and how it's taking on rehab," Hader said. "Right now for me, I'm trying to get as strong as I can for these next three weeks and see where I go from there."

Once he's able to throw again, Hader said he would need an additional ramp-up period of about three weeks in order to pitch in games, which would likely rule him out of the remainder of the regular season. But, the six-time All-Star hopes to return in the postseason for the Astros, who entered Saturday leading the American League West by a half-game over Seattle.

Orioles 1st baseman’s defense on the squeeze bunt was awesome. Gloved it to home. Alexander has been pitching well except for the 2 run dinger, but that’s baseball. Hang one out over the plate and it’s gone. The way the Astros have been playing at home, it’s nice to get a win for the home crowd. I’ll take it. Lol

Cristian Javier gets his 2nd start of the year this afternoon.

I thought Astro pitching did a phenomenal job last night late in game. Shut down Orioles in 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th inning when they had runners in scoring position with no outs. Abreu gave up a double in the 9th but then struck out the next three to end the threat. De Los Santos was money in the 11th and 12th to get the win.

Well, when Houston loses, they lose big. lol

12-0 loss. Javier gets the loss but he only gave up 1 run. He did only go 3 innings (50 pitches). On a short leash to get some starts under his belt.

Dubin and Weems combined to give up 9 runs on 8 hits, walking 3 in 1 1/3 innings pitched.

Astros had to use 6 pitchers (7 if you count McCormick). That's not good news with Houston heading into Day 4 of 10 straight days of baseball. Look for the Astros to bring some arms up or get some back from IL to replace a couple on the roster.

3 game series with Central leading Detroit then a 4 game series with these Orioles again. All on the road.

At this point, I'll take 4-3 or 3-4 in these next 7 games.

It is going to interesting to see if the Astros can get to 80 wins this season due to the way they are playing since the All Star break

The pitching has been bad the last few games especially the relievers

Offensively they continue to play a few players that can’t hit

Time will tell if they can turn it around a

So you are suggesting that Houston will go 10-27 the rest of the season? And basing on how they have done since All Star break?

Since Houston is playing around .500 ball since the break, I'll take that bet.

I said it will interesting the way they are playing since the break. They may be around 500 since the break which is not good, however they seem to be getting worse the last couple of weeks. 22-0 the past 2 games is poor

we will see if they can right the ship
