Well, I believe HF finally gets it done this year and win against the Tigers. I don’t know if HF has ever beaten Silsbee in football, and this game could potentially be for the District Championship.

 This is one of those games that could go either way. The HF passing attack is the real deal, but their defense hasn’t been impressive.  They put up 50 on the same Hitchcock defense that has made some really good teams look bad, albeit with a bunch of turnovers.  They’ve taken much better care of the ball since that game.  That said, I wouldn’t be shocked if either team won by two scores.  I’m not positive Augustine is back for this one.  If I knew for sure he would be I’d be more confident in a horns win.  I think this’ll be a high scoring game. Give me the longhorns winning 41-34

I looked at their roster. Augustine is still there. There are some names I recognized. I predict HF will win by 7. Silsbee always has a good team. This is just opinion. I have nothing personal against Silsbee. I have very close family members that support Silsbee.

On line they appear to be pretty evenly matched, but Silsbee may have a little more speed I think. Silsbee in a close one, even with HF HFA.

I may attend this one.  (Besides, I'd like to check out their concession stand, I've heard that it's nice, and that they have a good menu.)

He’s there, but he’s hurt.  I’ve heard different things about if and when he’ll be back.

Silsbee pass defense got burned alot vs Hitchcock who has some extremely talented kids. I dont think HF passing attack has that kind of talent but they are good.

Ehh they were step for step with them. They never looked back and put their self in position to make a play on the ball. Thats happened a quite a few times.

I heard that HF had their super fast guy tear his ACL this week.  Any truth to that?

Chris Augustine posted he had a torn ACL and added he's having surgery tomorrow (Oct. 10).

it happened about 3 weeks ago.  but he's finally having surgery.  Big loss for the horns, but they have a sophomore that has stepped in for him and done pretty well, and are also running Pirtle a little out of the backfield.
