ALL ABOARD THE L-TRAIN!!!

I hope to God that Lumberton comes into their game against Nederland thinking that they have the slightest chance of beating the Bulldogs.

By that time, Nederland will be undefeated in district, and Slumberton will either:

A) Be on the brink of making the playoffs, or B) Not even be in the picture.

Central wasn't able to overcome a sloppy first half against Nederland, and I look for Stowers to have his boys ready to whip up on the Lumberton Raiders (3-0 in 3A) and (2-0 against sorry teams).

Sorry Raiders, but your train ride is gonna be cut short.

Against sorry teams, Tell that to Dayton after you beat them which will not be easy.

i think (i hope) that by now the coaches in 22-4a are takin lumberton a little more serious, they are just proving that hard work, effort, and most of all HEART can win football games, its not all about talent, though it helps, lumberton will win against central, gonna be a great game, people neglect how much the crowd helps in lumberton, there hasnt been an empty friday night seat in Raider Stadium since last year, just wait central, just wait lol ;D

Coach Creduer will find a way to win just watch and see nederland and png fans they have the best rushing defense in 22-4a ;)

Well that's just tasty but Nederland has put about 1,200 yards passing while trying to break in a new sophmore quarterback and he has managed to toss 10 touchdowns since coming off of the bench. Now that he has gotten a couple of games under his belt, our quarterback has put up more than 500 yards passing and 5 touchdowns in the two district games where it counts. You had better hope for the best passing defense if you want to hang in that game.

No Doubt Ned is good But I think Ned should worry about PNG and Dayton before you think about the L-Train!! Please dont tell us that Ned's speed will kill us!!! LOL Our first chore is Central's speed. Then PNG, Ozen, LCM and then we will talk about Ned. By then we could both be in the Playoffs or both out of the Playoffs. Lets wait on that smack. I do know the Conductor and can prolly get some of you a ticket on the L-Train if you want to ride some history.

Mav,

In his defense TVC did not bring it up, he was just commenting in regards to Texasfan87's comments. Trust me, this aint the Dogs forst rodeo and they are not "worried" about any team, just preparing for them one at a time. They are well versed in what it takes to have success . No one is looking past today in Nederland much less PNG. One snap, one hit, one practice, one day, one game at a time. :)

L-Town hasn't made the playoffs yet. I will admit they are very good offensively and play sound defense. The district they are in is very tuff and teams traditionally are very good. Dont count your chickens before they hatch. There is still a lot of football to play. Good Luck Raiders!!!

Winning does wonders, and I'm glad to see it for the kids. Nederland and PNG have been packing the stands game after game for years, win or lose, definitely the best fans around and I'm proud to be part of that group. That's why both teams have the tradition they do. GO DOGS!!!

    • Heading into the summer and before two a days get going… what are some concerns or positives about your team heading into next season? I’d like to hear from some H-F people because according to some they are the district favorites heading into the season. I’m just trying to pass some time at least until we get our DCTF magazines lol For Bellville my concern is filling some holes on defense… specifically at LB,S, and DT… bright spots ? Basically the entire offensive line returns that paved the way for 3 RBs to rush for more than 1600 yards a  on the season (2 of those RBs will return as well). With all that said Bellville should still be a region favorite this upcoming season.
    • That’s not a choice, it’s the same thing and equally dangerous.    I’ve literally heard (with my own listening ears) the R County Chairman boast in a speech that “the only time I’ve ever voted for a Democrat was when I voted for Hillary in the Democrat primary! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!” You’ll never guess who is tweeting all over the place about how we need closed primaries this week.  Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.  Escalation of force.  These are concepts that you completely understand and teach.  Whatever we do today, we’ll pay for tomorrow. Impeach a President over something stupid? They’ll impeach yours twice.  Promise to lock up your political rival if you get elected? You can’t cry over somebody else doing it to you… even if you were just blowing a little smoke for the morons.   The old days of “don’t throw rocks if you live in glass houses” has now become “I’m pretty sure I’ve got more rocks than they do.” The frightening thing is that Ds only do it to Rs. Rs do it to Ds and other Rs alike without hesitation.
    • Definitely does NOT sound like a fit for PN-G.
    • No offense, but both sides do it.  The Rs in Texas want to do away with decades of precedent and demand that Dems are no longer given chair positions on any committees in the Tx House. It sounds reasonable enough, until you arrive at a point when the Ds enjoy a single seat majority in the house, select the most leftist speaker of all times, and the refuse to give Rs any say in the legislative process by refusing to give them any committee chairs.     Experience has shown me that any time a party seeks to consolidate power in a legislative body, it backfires.    What I don’t like is a world where we cheer for Manchin for doing his own thing, but also re-elect guys like Paxton and Patrick when they make threats to R Legislators if they don’t do exactly what the Radical Right demands. Our Rep here in Hardin County lost his spot for voting against private school vouchers-his wife is a teacher. He also voted his conscience on the Paxton impeachment.  It cost him his seat…. Not because of the will of the voters in his district, but because if millions of outside dollars pumped into the race from outside the district and even an endorsement of his unknown challenger by Donald Trump himself.    Why do people like you applaud Manchin for being his own man and then vote against Phelan for doing the same thing?
