Expand The feedback I have heard was that practice was much better this week. I think that has a lot to do with how well the teams perform. Defensively, I don't think Lumberton scores a lot on this defense but they probably won't get shut out. Offensively, I think Huffman is focused on execution this week. They aren't scoring at the same rate as last year and they know it. The defense and special teams (punting has been outstanding) has overperformed and that won't last forever. If the offense has figured some things out and scores quick, this could be a solid win. And I'm gonna say it, the officiating has been better this year than last year. There has been a couple missed calls but overall, it seem like the officiating has been fair. Which means, this game is probably where that luck runs out. The best quote I read was either here or on the Friday Night app: "I have never not been disappointed by the refs." Of course this is just a worthless observation. piratevillain 1 Quote

Very respectful players that work hard in practice, but are extremely soft on game day. In other words, they just don’t compete well Quote
