I think Soulja must be a closet HJ fan.  He's living on those past years like they live on those past championships!

No, not at all.  I have a few kids whom I've became fond of that plays on this team.  I hate that they lost in the Regionals and have told them that this is their year.  I have plans on checking them out in the playoffs...

I guess I'll say it again.  No matter where it started it has stuck. It's one heck of a catch phrase.

Past acknowledged.  The only way our kids stay behind and not learn from "past" mistakes is if we hold them accountable, support them after those mistakes are paid for and no matter what we can not abandon them to those influences.

We all grow up regardless. Whether or not we become a success in life depends on what was instilled in us as important and not fashionable.

That's how I dress things up.

I just meant because of your repeated references to those past 40 pt wins.

Well, it was funny because that story wasn't true at all. .  Lol.

And the comment about H-J was a rebuttal to what you said.  When you jab me, don't get in your feelings when I jab you back...  That's all I'm saying.  Like I said, I will be rooting for this kid's from here on out.  This is their year and if they can play more consistently and beat Bridgeport, they'll be the last 4a team standing, imo.

The story absolutely was not started by 'Youngsters'.  Smh.  I heard this reference, again , since the mid 90's.  And it has nothing to do with the ridiculous notion of a record label (still funny as heck that someone would say that lol) or smoking weed.  If thats the case, every town and city would be nicknamed 'Smoke Town'.  Straight ridiculousness...  Smh

No, never coached them (i don't coach).  But a fan of them. Seen them from pop Warner football and through Middle school.  Great kids with great attitudes.

I am saying that I coached a kid from almost every school in this area.. So I am rooting for all of SETX as well

Hmmm Why am I guessing that if your school had a few state championships, you might be more prone to live in the past?

Hmm I see someone pretty close to you, making my same statement towards cowboy fans. I guess it works when it benefits you......

    • Spot on, I said this tactic would be used again, and it will, has nothing to do with Donald Trump. That's why the "cakewalk" claims are ridiculous, no such thing for a Republican candidate anymore.
    • He screwed himself when he started blowing up planes, government buildings and killing judges.  Becoming a politician is not what did him in. And the DEA was a big part of what ended his reign and it had nothing to do with politics, wasn't swaying the conversation at all, just pointing out facts.
    • I still can't believe SETX Lamar and SFA thought they would ever fit in the WAC. The logistics are incredibly bad. Couldn't they see that?
    • This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up This is a tragic day for America. The guilty verdict issued hours ago against former President Donald Trump is a clear abuse of our justice system. This politically motivated and stacked trial is what we have come to expect in communist China or North Korea—not in the United States of America.   The totalitarian impulse of the neo-Marxist Left is to suppress and silence political opposition using any means necessary.    But here’s what we must understand: What just happened is not only about Donald Trump, and it will not stop with him.   The Left is not only waging legal warfare against Donald Trump. They are attempting to prevent half the country from having any say in the governance of our nation, and they have weaponized the legal system to ensure their success at any cost.    They are already using our legal system to go after pro-life activists and patriotic Christians who defend religious liberty. The Deep State is spying on conservative parents and churches, treating them like enemies of the state. They have even gone so far as to compare caring parents to terrorists.    The Left has repeatedly contested that conservatives are a threat to our democracy. Yet, they are the ones who are aggressively attacking our Constitutional Republic with blatant disregard for our fundamental rights. We cannot remain silent against such explicit tyranny.   Today's verdict is a clarion call for every God-fearing, America-loving Christian and our fellow citizens who believe in faith, family, and freedom to run, walk, or crawl, if necessary, to the polls this November. Gary Bauer, Senior Vice President of Public Policy  James Dobson Family Institute
    • Yup. Made our ISD get turf which I appreciate. 😁   But 2011 was better though.
