IT'S IN THE BONE
EC plays well and Collins pitches...EC has a good chance of pulling off what most would call an upset. If not Kirbyville walks away with this one.
GCMproud
Collins pitched on Monday vs Anahuac,

Rockies1993
3 days rest should be enough, depending on how many pitches he threw Monday.

Rockies1993
Well back in the day, we were on a 4 man rotation! If his arm is in great shape and I need a win to have a chance to get to playoffs, I'm going with my best!
wackpack
He pitched 7. Averaged around 20 pitches per inning

If his arm is in great shape and I need a win to have a chance to get to playoffs, I'm going with my best! 138 pitches on Monday night...rest Tues, Wed., and Thursday...play Friday after an addtional three days of practice as a Short Stop or Catcher...YOU TELL ME HOW RECOVERED HIS ARM SHOULD BE...the kid has a college baseball deal and is playing on a high school team that has a long shot at post season play @ 1-6. In my book Its not worth risking the young mans future. Oh note...EC now has a maximum 2 man starting rotation Collins and Deviller with limited relief. SportsFan78
Injuries have really hurt EC this year.
Rockies1993
140 is a lot of pitches, especially if any of them were breaking balls, so no way, especially since he isn't a pitcher at next level! IT'S IN THE BONE
rounder17
He pitched 7. Averaged around 20 pitches per inning Not trying to dog anyone here, but 140 pitches. Really? IT'S IN THE BONE

SportsFan78
Justin Yawn got hit by a ground ball in the mouth in the game against Anahuac and had to get stitches, and Grayson Turner fractured his hand. Those two are pitchers, leaving really only Collins and Devillier.
SportsFan78
Also Luke Devillier, Grant's brother, had mononucleosis for the half of district play and just got back, and Johnny Trent has been out since football season with a torn ACL.
