I will always stick to what I said. Oklahoma State should of been in the national title game in 2012.

I didn't think the east mattered, I mean with how awesome the west is. Thing is, the sec, especially those top tier teams, is second to lots of other teams so this thread title is totally without merit....just a blowhard.

You have to give the Pac 12 props for the bowl season - and it may well not be over as I think that Oregon will be the NC.

 

Props also to Conference USA with its 4 - 1 mark - they needed that for a reputation gain.

 

But while the SEC top team did not fair very well - 7 - 5 is not spelling out the demise of the SEC at this time - all things are cyclical and this is as well - will the Pac 12 stay on top we will have to see.

 

But with the notable exception of the impressive win that TCU posted the Big 12 again had a tough bowl season.

I agree. SEC would have won again this year against Florida St without the playoff. The SEC elite wasnt as strong this year, but the SEC overall is still the best in my opinion. TCU shows us that we need more than 4 teams in the playoff.
