Evadale nabs third in Silsbee

Evadale Lady Rebels win 3 and lose 2 and take third place in the gold bracket of Kim Albers Classic in Silsbee.

 

Lady Rebels were in a pool with Lumberton,Buna,Orangefield

 

They defeated Orangefield 50-33 and Lost to Lumberton 71-45. Evadale went to the Gold bracket on a tie breaker with Buna.

 

They defeated Bridge City 48-35 and lost to Sheldon C.E King 42-39 in the semi final.

 

They defeated Hampshire Fannett 40-31 in the Third Place Game

 

Evadale was the only 2A school in the tournament and its two losses were to 5A Schools

 

Hanna Oldbury was selected to the All-Tournament Team. She is a sophomore.
