Should be much better next year. Have some kids coming up from JV that are very athletic and some 8th graders coming up that are very talented

Just a question....Why isn't Kountze better on defense?  Is it the scheme, mental toughness or are they just not good on that side of the ball?  It's the same kids on the defensive side, however you can't rely on 1 or 2 to make a play on defense like they do on offense.  It just seems to me that with the type of athletes they have, they should be better on that side of the ball.

Game actually could've been closer . Kountze turned the ball over 2 or three times inside the 20 in the first half.

Hmmm.... No so impressed with Teague after all. Apparently their defense is not that overwhelming for a #1 team, giving up 42.

 

Basing this on just one playoff game though. We'll see as things progress.   .

They definitely are really good on offense! But yes defense could be lacking.

Wouldn't really say they ran it up. Kountze could have kept it closer in my opinion. Just don't think we had the right game plan and didn't make the necessary adjustments needed

Playoff experience is everything. I think we getting a new staff to help Joub next year. I'm excited. More coaches the better

I agree, with a QB that good you can't sit back and let him pick you apart. You've got to try and get to him, knock him down, disrupt his timing, something.........

Great Season Lions!  The seniors will be missed but the returning players for next year need to start preparing now.   Goals need to be set now for the coaching staff and kids to win a district championship instead of just making the playoffs.

The fact that Teague is talking crap on dist. 12 because they beat kountze like this blows my mind. They act like they did something nobody else has.

And I don't think Grayland played a full quarter at qb. He played wr mostly and if he could of gotten the ball more it would of been a lot closer. But I will say this, Teagues qb is the real deal and so was #1. Put someone on #1 that can cover him, like Kountze didn't, and put some pressure on the qb and they can be beat.
