gary-us-bonds Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Hearing Sterling up 20-7 in the first Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Half GCM. 27 RSS. 34 Not much defense. Quote
Steven Avery Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 I'll take this over the last 3 years of crap aduddel put on the field...that guy should be banned from coaching for the piss poor job he did, he wasted these seniors three good years. Gareri has these guys inspired and the offense is pretty good. The soph qb is good and going to get better. They have two good rbs and a good skill set of wrs. These kids have always been winners until the clown coach came in here..always said there was plenty of skill players here, needed to spread the field and let them find holes. Aduddel was the smartest guy in the room and refused to look at the personnel he had..this isn't clear lake, we don't have giant lineman..ever...I'm getting more and more pissed thinking about the last 3 years. These guys may not win a district game but they are competing and putting a good product on the field. Quote

Steven Avery Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 54--27 rss...cheniere and hill may have 400 yards rushing tonight...this is more points than rss scored all year last year it seems like Quote
jabu84 Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 That's a good question when is last time sterling hit 50+ Quote
Steven Avery Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Never that I know of...about to hit 60 ..on the 13 3:50 left Quote
Steven Avery Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Wow hill another td run...61-33 Sterling is the new lee lol...awesome, these boys deserve it after all they have been through! Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Chenier and Hill were just too much for GCM. Not sure why they played their offensive starters for the whole game. Would have been a perfect opportunity for RSS to get some backups some playing time against a 5A school. Oh we'll, district starts next week for GCM. Time to play the games that count. Quote

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Wow! 21-6a seems to be the best 6A district in Region 3 from top to bottom. Yeoj 1 Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Wow! 21-6a seems to be the best 6A district in Region 3 from top to bottom. Sterling has improved, but they beat a bad Lee team and a decent GCM team. 2-0 in 5A. Not sure they are ready to play with the big boys, especially defensively. Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Did not realize LCM was 4A now. Makes me wonder why we are we driving 2 hrs to play them!! Makes sense though. Usually have a bye before district starts. Quote
Steven Avery Posted September 6, 2014 Report Posted September 6, 2014 Well because gcm came back from a 20-7 hole to take a 27-20 lead at one point...you can't take anything for granted. Last week against lee the whole team played so they are getting more kids in the game. This game just proves sterling if placed where they belong as a 5a with lee and gcm they would compete every week. No excuse for rss to be a 6a in reality...but if this game is played last year gcm wins due to poor coaching and scheme. Chenier and Hill were just too much for GCM. They had the better athletes tonight. Actually had the better athletes last night too. They did not lose a game at any level in Baytown. It will be interesting to see how they compete in their district. They should be 3-0 going in. Quote
