AthleticSupporter - Jock Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 Great article. Exciting to see Lumberton getting some recognition. Those kids deserve it. Especially the seniors. Good luck to them this year. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
Bighornet Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 Coach Haynes is known for developing quarterbacks. Great job Mr Yarbro. Quote
Team Game Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 I remember watching him in youth sports, he was always a competitor. He isn't bad on the hardwood or baseball field either. Keep it going Mr Yarbro and best of Luck the next two seasons. Quote
jordibug15 Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 So excited to watch him on Friday nights. He is such an amazing kid and a great leader for his team TexMex 1 Quote

AshlyHasBeen Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 When I left after #1 controlled scrimmage @AshlyKBMT12: So basically controlled #1's finished Lumberton 7 Hardin-Jefferson 6 Lumberton 7 Bridge City 7 Hardin-Jefferson 0 Bridge City 0 Quote
Guest Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 I figured HJ was was gonna whoop both teams like they stole something lol Quote
Tiger33 Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 Wow Lumberton beat the mighty HJ Hawks how was that possible lol Quote
Team Game Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 Don't forget to mention the turnovers HJ caused including sacks and INT on the first possession. It was good competitive scrimmage, but in the live 15 minute Quarter HJ did pretty much dominate. Quote
AshlyHasBeen Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 Controlled #1's Lumberton 1 turnover, TD vs HJ Hardin-Jefferson TD, Extra Point missed vs LUM Lumberton missed FG, TD vs BC Bridge City TD vs LUM Hardin-Jefferson 0 vs BC Bridge City 0 vs HJ Total Points LUM 14 BC 7 HJ 6 Quote
bedelmon Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 Well if you consider the first Lumberton offensive play from scrimmage resulting in an HJ sack and fumble recovery (HJ Ball on the L-Train 20) and then 2 plays later (Scrimmage so still Lumberton Ball) an HJ pick that landed HJ inside the L-Train 20 not whooping them like they stole something, then ok.... What would have been Lumbertons 3rd or 4th possession they moved the ball thanks to a big pass play... HJ Scored on the 3rd play from scrimmage.... from about 60 out.... The total points above don't look right, our 1st team scored on Lumberton 2 times to Lumbertons 1 and we scored 3 times on BC to their 1 score... Also, the 1st play from Scrimmage for Lumberton was a sack fumble recovered by HJ so actually Lumberton turned the ball over twice to HJ in the 1st 4 plays... Team Game 1 Quote
