eagleswoodville#1 Posted September 21, 2014 Author Report Posted September 21, 2014 The season starts Friday and the discussion can begin in 7 weeks!!! I see your point...but I seriously doubt you'd feel the need to make this comment if your team was 3-0 instead of 0-3. Just sayin... kcat-fan and rykerx144 2 Quote
kcat-fan Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 Has anyone changed their mind on the way they believe this dist. Plays out? Quote
rykerx144 Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 I dont remember what i predicted and its too many pages to go back but as for now I still like Kville as the favorite Ec 2nd with only lose to Kville Buna and Kountze get 3rd and 4th just not sure who wins this one Anahuac beats Hardin Woodvile Warren Woodville has the program/athletes to beat Hardin, Warren and maybe Anahuac but still ned to find a way to put it together Hardin should beat Warren....should! not exactly firing on all cylinders and if they lose bad to woodville this program could implode Warren sitting at the bottom with nothing to lose looking for that one week where they play up and a hardin or woodvile let down to get off the bottom deck Quote
kcat-fan Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 Yeah well, I'm not sure on Anahuac or Woodville or Hardin as far as the 5/6 spot. Quote
Mr.Green Jeans Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 We may see three teams with one lose Quote
Guest HardinHornets Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 Don't count us out just yet. Quote
kcat-fan Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 I agree. I think Hardin might be the surprise to step up Quote
kcat-fan Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 It's tough to predict the middle of the pack. Quote
OLDGREGG Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 I think it'll end up being Kirbyville Buna EC Kountze SteelerCzy 1 Quote
SteelerCzy Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 I think it'll end up being Kirbyville Buna EC Kountze I agree with this. Quote
whsalum Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 I agree with the 4 teams but I think you swap Buna and EC. I think from 5-8 is anybodys guess. Anahuac has not been impressive and Warren seems to be playing a little better every week. Woodville has also played better under their new coach. Quote
wackpack Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 I watched buna - hf fri night. I don't think buna will beat Ec. Haven't seen kv so i don't know who gets first. Quote
eagleswoodville#1 Posted September 21, 2014 Author Report Posted September 21, 2014 1. Kirbyville 2. East Chambers 3. Buna 4. Kountze 5. Woodville 6. Anahuac 7. Hardin 8. Warren That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I think the top and bottom 4 are pretty much set. Woodville could challenge Kountze for that fourth spot though. Write it down, I said it first. But this is my prediction. Quote
Guest HardinHornets Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 We will see next Friday, Woodville. Quote
IT'S IN THE BONE Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 Best of luck to everybody starting district this week...all the future telling and predictions are all about to start taking shape...GONNA BE A WILD RIDE...IMO Quote
kcat-fan Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 ^^^^ yea, there will be some surprises and probably some upsets Quote
longball24 Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 1. Buna 2. Kirbyville 3. East Chambers 4. Woodville 5. Hardin 6. Kountze 7. Anahuac 8. Warren. Woodville has the athletes and the depth to make a run. it is up to the coaches to make the adjustments. Kountze will hurt with the lack of depth and lack of confidence. Hardin can be a spoiler. Coach Fortune will have a say in how the District shapes up. ReconMarine1980 1 Quote

longball24 Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 After starting the season 0 and 5 Kountze will loose all confidence. They miss coach Franklin more than anyone realizes. Quote

AggiesAreWe Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 Kville EC Buna Kountze, Woodville, Hardin in three way tie for 4th Quote
rykerx144 Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 lol lack of depth hurts them against CC, HJ...etc. It is not as big of a disadvantage against Hardin, Woodville, Warren.... could come into play against Kville EC Buna,,,,,esp this week with them struggling with game conditions already and healing mupltiple injuries Quote
eagleswoodville#1 Posted September 22, 2014 Author Report Posted September 22, 2014 I keep trying to give Kountze the benefit of the doubt against Woodville, but the more I compare and contrast the two teams, the more I get confused about 4/5. Quote
eagleswoodville#1 Posted September 22, 2014 Author Report Posted September 22, 2014 lol lack of depth hurts them against CC, HJ...etc. It is not as big of a disadvantage against Hardin, Woodville, Warren.... could come into play against Kville EC Buna,,,,,esp this week with them struggling with game conditions already and healing mupltiple injuries Woodville has between 130 kids in their middle school and highschool programs combined. 70 being in the highschool. 35-40 on the varsity. Depth is one issue the Eagles don't have. Nor is talent or athleticism. It is simply....execution and discipline. If those two things come along, Woodville will be in the playoffs this year. Quote
