AggiesAreWe Posted May 22, 2014 Report Posted May 22, 2014 We are now 4 rounds deep in the high school baseball playoffs with a great match up here as the Caldwell Hornets take on the Silsbee Tigers in a best of 3 Regional Semifinal series starting with Game 1 TONIGHT 7pm at New Caney High School's Adam Dunn Field. Caldwell (23-5) runner up in 18-3A, defeated Lorena 5-0, 11-1 in Bi-District, Center 8-0, 2-1 in Area, and Carthage 15-1, 5-3 in the Regional Quarterfinals. Silsbee (22-6) 2nd in 21-3A, defeated Shepherd 4-1 in Bi-District, Columbia 2-1, 7-0 in Area and Splendora 8-0, 9-5 in Regional Quarters. These two teams played each other earlier in the season at Rogers Tourney with Caldwell defeating Silsbee 5-4. Winner of this series will face winner of College Station/Huffman in Regional Finals.
