Based on their stats on max preps, they have only 2 players who have attempted more than ten three pointers. I'm assuming they push the ball and press overwhelming less talented guards with their size. Which is why their big girl only averages 18 points a game. She's left on the defensive end a lot.

they swarm on defense….  if hf can beat the initial wave and attack, it will give them a lot of good looks…. from who all I have talked with that is easier said than done…  On offense, they attack..

 

They reminded me of the team we played from Bryan Rudder a few years ago…  Kind of like Memorials team this year, but more guard power...

 

The Lady Horns will have their hands full, but that is why you play the games!

40-21 waco at half. There bigger so they are snow birding now cuz we had to go small. They went on a 10-0 run right at half to separate.

HALFTIME: La Vega 40, HF 21. La Vega banked a three at the buzzer. Lady Horns caught a break with Erin Degrate (the 6'4" post) getting in foul trouble but La Vega is still getting out into transition

Waco girl actually threw the ball in after a made basket without even going out of bounds. I'm apologize on the soap box, just venting. Both teams are knocking each other to floor we just don't have the size to play that game.
