In pool play at the Region III President's Cup Regional tournament, the Hurricanes defeated South Carolina: 2-1, Arkansas: 5-0, and Tennessee: 5-1

They then advanced to the Semi-final where they eliminated Louisiana: 1-0.

In the Region III championship game they remained undefeated with a 2-1 win over North Carolina.
(Note: NC won the National Championship last year)
