Little bit surprised by this one although Corrigan hasn't been the power football school as of late. -

Rebels. -
They have a common Opponent in Cleveland Liberty 69 Cleveland 13 Diboll 56 Cleveland 7 Id say pretty evenly matched. Should be a good game. I am going with the Jacks in a knuckle buster.

Silsbee did not need a turnaround. They have been good all long. There is a deep run aligned for them this season barring injuries. Just some tough opponents and a few things to work on.

West Orange Stark vs Crosby - GAME CANCELLED
Jackthehammer replied to tennisbc's topic in High School Football
This is an interesting game. i am sure a certain Crosby fan has it logistically, statistically, and psychologically figured it out. He may even know which guy has atmospheric speed which is better than anything WO-S has. -

Issues run deep in the Ville -
Crosby is not near the Crosby of old. Defensively they are not doing well enough to go very far. Offensively they are slinging some crazy numbers. I have a sneaky suspicion that it is partially to the fact that 21-5A is down from what they usually are. Even with Crosby's team being short of what they usually are they still will win this game.

and a fine win streak it is......

Summercreek ranked 7 in the state
Jackthehammer replied to dawgteeth's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
The word is they are adding on to Cowboys stadium to help hold 1/3 of the Summer Creek fans that will be able to attend the game. They are also building a huge open field next to AT&T field to hold the other 2/3 of their fans. They are expecting to reach record numbers for a game at the stadium. Besting the Cowboys game time numbers by thousands. -
Can a young and somewhat inexperienced Lions team win 6 games and maybe slip into the state playoffs? Below I have posted their schedule courtesy of SETXSPORTS to help you make your choice. Looks like only two preseason games not sure about Woodlands Park but I know Silsbee will be a tough game. Aug. 30 Woodlands College Park Sept. 6 at Dayton Sept. 13 OPEN Sept. 20 Silsbee Sept. 27 at Little Cypress-Mauriceville* Oct. 4 Nederland* Oct. 12 at Beaumont Ozen* Oct. 18 Lumberton* Oct. 26 at Beaumont Central* Nov. 1 Vidor* Nov. 8 at Port Neches-Groves*

Ozen is always somewhat of a mystery to me. They have some very talented kids this year will it be enough to make a run at the playoffs? Ozen has a pretty tough schedule as does most of 20-4A. Below I have posted their schedule courtesy of SETXSPORTS to help you decide....... Aug. 31 Beaumont West Brook Sept. 6 at Port Arthur Memorial Sept. 14 Cedar Hill (Dallas Kincaide) Sept. 20 OPEN Sept. 27 Beaumont Central* Oct. 4 at Vidor* Oct. 12 Livingston* Oct. 18 at Little Cypress-Mauriceville* Oct. 25 Nederland* Nov. 1 Port Neches-Groves* Nov. 8 at Lumberton*
