Lumberton won a couple of games and acted like they had never won before (big surprise there) and then reality slapped them in the face.

Lumberton talked enough smack in the weeks leading up to Dayton that should last for the rest of the season. You guys should have learned a hard lesson. Its always better to come in unnoticed.

Sure you do! You experienced a tough loss. Use that as a building block to get better. One thing about Nederland is that those kids love playing football. This loss may be the motivation needed to go out and play to their capabilities. Keep your heads high dogs, there's lots of football left to be played.

Didn't Sabine Pass play Colmesneil's JV? Thats pretty weak, a 1A school playing another 1A's JV. Isn't High Island going to play Colmesneils JV as well?

Most of the gum bumping is started by L-town stunner. Its a shame when overzealous parents hurt their kids because they don't know when to shut up. Keep on downing PNG and these other schools and it'll be yet another year that Lumberton sits home during the playoffs. Now go beat up on another 3A school tomorrow to boost your egos.

Nobody would have ever said anything if all of the Lumberton people hadn't come on here as if Lumberton had just won their 6th straight title. So maybe you need to direct your "shut your piehole" comments back at your buds from Lumberton.

Deweyville rolled up over 450 yds of offense on Buna and scored 4 times. It wasn't even a contest!
