I will be the first Navasota fan to admit WOS has a nasty defense.  Playmakers all over the field.  Navasota is going to have to play its best game to win.  If WOS is going to win they are going to have to play their best also.  If Navasota executes and doesn't turn the ball over they will win.  If WOS creates turnover and turns them into points for the offense they will win.  I am just hoping for a good game.  I don't think we have to worry about WOS players acting like thugs as LaMarque did.  I think Hooks would put an end to that crap first.  Should be the best 3A game of the year.  Either way both teams have had a great year.  It is fun to talk a little smack to each other, but in the end we have no control of the game.  Good luck WOS and air up them basketballs (just joking).  Travel safe and be loud.

[/quote] Lorena is not that good of an offense.  You make comments that our district is a joke, but Lorena lost to Madisonville and barely beat Rockdale in the playoffs (both belong to our district).  Lorena would only be middle of the pack in our joke of a district.  This game is going to be fun and can't wait for Friday.  Yes Navasota likes to pass the ball around, but also average over 150 yards a game on the ground.

Good point, but WOS hasn't faced a defense like Navasota either.  We all know WOS has a good d and Navasota has a good o.  It's going to come down to execution.  Hopefully both teams keep it clean.

I like how all the WOS fans jump on a Navasota fan for predicting them to score over 40 points and turn around predict Navasota to score 10 - 14 points.  In my opinion that prediction is just as crazy as the Navasota's fans.  Before you tell me that Navasota hasn't seen a defense like WOS's, it works both ways and WOS hasn't seen a offense like Navasota's.  Should be a great game, but Navasota isn't scoring less than 24 points in this one.

We shall soon see.  I would be surprised if this game is closer than 7 points.  The best team is going to win and neither of them should hang their heads after its over.  Just to much fire power on both sides of the ball for Navasota.  I can see our defense creating 10 - 14 points for us just off of turnovers.  Good luck to WOS, can't wait for this one.  Not sure I am happy about Turner Stadium.  Wood forest stadium couldn't fit all of Navasota. 

Everyone is always talking about Navasota's offense.  I can promise you the defense is just as good as WOS.

Congrats WOS on the win(from a Rattler fan).  We all get the matchup we have been waiting for.  I have heard a lot about your defense, but don't sleep on ours.  They are pretty stout themselves.

Overall a really good game.  There was a couple knuckleheads from LaMarque trying to start crap.  Their QB was fun to watch.  The best team won today.

LaMarque came out early and tried to set the tone with some late hits and pushing people around.  Now they are just getting manhandled on the field.
