1. This game can't get here soon enough.  Just another opportunity for the Rattlers to show everyone what they got.  Should be a great game and best wishes for both teams and fans.  Get there early and enjoy the show both teams put on.  Go Rattlers
 2. Should be a hell of a game to watch.  I grew up in Dayton and have lived in the College Station/Navasota area for the last 7 years.  I have seen some incredible teams from La Marque through years against Dayton.  This Navasota offense is for real and is going to be hard to stop.  I don't think they are going to put up 50 against the cougars, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did either.  I expect a good game.  Best wishes to both teams and I hope everyone goes home heathly and safe, including the fans.
 3. Don't worry, I will have my popcorn ready.  I just hope, as a football fan and not as a Rattler fan, that this game isn't over by the end of the 1st quarter like most have been all year.  I glad you think Navasota only passes the ball, you just might get a little surprised come Friday.
 4. Everyone needs to remember this is a fan posting on here.  I see just as many WOS fans making comments about Navasota.  Neither the coaches or the players from either of the teams  are worrying about the other right now.  They are focused on the next game only.  Every game from here on out should be fun to watch as a fan.

Is it more LaMarque must play great and get lucky or Navasota must have the worst game of their year or both?t
I honestly think LaMarque will. I don't care how talented you are as a team..you just don't blow through the playoffs and not have a close game. There will be a game where you come out flat (much like WOS did last night). From here on out if you come out flat your gonna get beat. Hopefully, WOS learned a lesson last night (plus West Columbia played their hearts out). If you come out flat against either LaMarque or WOS, you will get beat. I just think Navasota is due a bad game and never underestimate a team with the championship heritage that LaMarque has. I will say one thing, this region champion will win state, whoever it is.
WOS loses before Navasota does.
Dayton loses before WOS /Navasota dose !!
Yes that's true.  I have lived in the Navasota area for the last 7 years.  I am originally from Dayton.    I am really looking forward to this weeks matchup.  I have seen some good La Marque teams go through Dayton.  This Navasota team is as good or better than any Dayton team I have watched.

 7.
Stop hyping these guys offense up so much. They haven't played anybody that's on La'Marque or WOS's level all year. Its very possible Navasota loses this friday. But my goodness these outrages score predictions of the scoring dang near 50 on the coogs get real [/quote You must have not watched Navasota play this year.  No one has come close to stopping this offense.  I not saying they are going to score 50, but I am not saying they aren't going to score 50 either.  This team can score at will and have some many options to do it with.  Should be the best competition for the Rattlers all year, but in the end they will wear down the cougars.  WOS only put up 17 against Jasper.  Navasota doubled that by halftime. Navasota = at least 42 La Marque = 21
 8.
You will see a different defense for jasper three down lineman and three lb and 5 defensive backs linebackers will be putting some receivers a hit if they want forget if they do a slant it will be a good game
Navasota faced this same defense last week against China Spring.  Baker seems to like to get out of the pocket fast.  Against a 3 man rush, he should be able to just set back and pick a wr to pass to.  I am not sure if China Spring was causing him to get out of the pocket with pressure or if he just likes to be on the move.  The key is to game is how physical Jasper db's are with the Navasota wr's.  If they can get some pressure and knock the wr's off of their timing routes they may be able to slow Navasota down.  I just don't see Jasper being able to stop them for 4 quarters.  The Navasota offense is a pretty impressive show watch.  Good luck to both teams.  Navasota 55 Jasper 21
 9. Navasota TD pass to McGinty.  Going to the house this one is over.
 10. 3 and out Navasota. CS fumbles punt and returned for a TD. 35-10.
 11. 3 and out for CS, - 5 yards on the drive.  43 yd TD to McGinty.  28-10 Navasota. 9:08 left in 3rd.
 12. 4 yd QB keeper for a CS TD.  21-10 with 1:39 left in 2nd quarter.
 13. I am from Dayton and moved to the College Station area for the last 8 years for work and be closer to the wife's family.  This Navasota team is as big as any Dayton team I can remember.  I know Dayton has had some great teams, but this Navasota team ranks up there with them.    They are explosive on offense and their defense is dominating.  It is a weak district they are in, but even with backups playing most of the 3rd and 4th quarters, they outscored their opponents 191-0.  Region III is a tough bracket and should be fun to watch starting this Thursday.

They should be #1 after this week. They didn't beat Willis any worse than we did.  Navasota is just decent?  ???
I have to agree.  Navasota is the No. 1 team in state for 3A.  I watched them put a beat down on Coldspring.  Coldspring has already beat C. E. King and LaMarque the year. Navasota would surprise many of the 19-4a teams if they were taken lightly.  My heart says Dayton wins this game, but it won't be by much.
 16.
Honestly, that Navasota game was a few plays from a different outcome....but aren't they all ;D 27-21 CS
I was at the game and it was not a few plays from being a different outcome.  If anything Navasota dropped several passes that could have turned into more points.  Coldspring was over matched from the beginning.  There is not going to be many 3A teams that are going to be able to stop the Navasota passing game.  Its going to take ball control team to slow them down.
