What Murphy?
Defense is tired and making mistakes they didn't make in first half. -
WOS falling apart.

I think WOS will win this game, but its going to be closer than most of you all think. The La Marque team you see this week will be not be like the team they were all year. They are going to try to get in to the WOS players head by any means possible. It all comes down to how the WOS players handle it. Things could get a little dirty at times. If WOS doesn't let it get to them, they should be fine. If they let the games shake them up, could be a possible upset.
WOS 31
La Marque 28

Who's the home team?
Navasota -
I hope to see a more competitive game this week. I think CH will be the best team Navasota has faced since Coldspring. If any you get a chance to go to game, keep an eye on #2 Dickson. He is the best high school wr I have ever watched. He is committed to Baylor and went for 6 catches, 250 yards and 4 TD's in the 1st half last week. I believe he is approaching the record for most receiving touchdowns in one season. He is up to 28 and I think the record is 33.
-
I don't think he has committed yet. I'm not sure who will take over his spot, but they will be ready. This team is the total opposite of the 2012 team. The 2012 has some serious talkers in that group, but they were able to back it up. The stars of this team are quiet and let their play do the talking.
-
There are reports of star RB Derrion Randle tearing his ACL last Friday. If so, this will sideline him for the rest of his senior year. He is fun to watch. Runs hard every play and looks to hit rather than be hit. Wishing him a quick recovery.
-
Tren'Davion Dickson is something special. We may not be in the coverage area, but we are Region III. He hasn't played a full game because of blowouts by half.
Rec.: 38 Yards: 969 TDs: 19
Has committed to Baylor and also really good basketball player.

WOS should bounce back this week. Liberty has won back to back games, but against two winless teams. I think predicting WOS score anything over 50 points is crazy. I believe La Grange will be Region III in the semifinals.
-
This would be a fun matchup to watch though. In my opinion this Navasota team not as good as 2012 team, but they are still a real threat to win state. The only matchup concerns in region 3 I see for WOS are LaMarque and La Grange. La Grange has looked very good this year. WOS should be favored in both of those matchups though.
-
I think a lot of people are over looking LaMarque. I think out of all teams in SETX that WOS has the best chance to get to state. My guess in the end, they fall short and don't win the region again. Losing Cole is going to hurt, whether you admit that or not.

Great season Silsbee. Those boys from CS are for real. I tried to tell y'all, nothing to hang their head about.
-
Please point out what Region III or IV DII team will beat WO-S this coming season.
I was just messing with the WOS posters. If I recall La Grange had a pretty good team last year, but not sure what they have returning. Region 3 and Region 4 look pretty weak, so no excuses for all those D1 players this year. :)

I would have to say Silsbee has had the tougher strength of schedule, in the playoffs. Having faced a right handed pitcher hitting 102 mph and some wicked off speed junk, that is a potential first pick in the draft, and winning in one game. Facing the #4 ranked team and a left handed pitcher hitting 90 or so on the gun, a potential first round pick, and winning in two games. Sending the #21 ranked team home in two games, Then winning two of three from the #9 ranked team. Yeah, I would say the Silsbee Tigers have been tried and tested in these playoffs, Now, I know for a fact we have seen better pitchers in the playoffs, and probably just as good a defenses. So, go ahead and throw that #1 ranking at us, and that twelve step baseball program, and that crap about a bigger area to get better players from. This is the Silsbee Tigers, we don't run from numbers, we just play ball. So what does all this get you at the end of the day, not a thing. You still gotta play the game to win, and we show up to play the game. Safe travels to all. Go Tigers!!!
I was just giving my opinion, that is what these forums were created for. Everyone, including me, likes to see an underdog win. The underdog is what Silsbee is, whether you believe it or not. I have not said one negative thing about your team. It seems if someone has a different opinion than some of yall, yall come unglued. A few of yall are starting to remind me of the WOS posters that ran their mouth all week before the game against Navasota in 2012. I wish yall luck and safe travels.

You mean just Dayton and Memorial! :)
-
No ties, come on every time some team around here makes the playoffs in 3A, we start hearing from the likes of Navasota coming around telling us here in SETX that we dont have what it takes to compete with you guys out west or north. Please tell us how you have come to the conclusion that CS has a better program than Silsbee? Curious!
Its my opinion, thats why it said "just personally feel College Station is a far better program." Some things that make me feel this way:
- twelve baseball program
- larger area to pull kids from
- multiple D1 scholarships
- # 1 ranking in state
- tougher schedule
I'm not saying Silsbee can't win, anything is possible. One great pitching effort can shut down any team. As for your Navasota comment, I'll just leave that alone. I'm actually born and raised in SETX, from Dayton. I don't feel they are better because of where they are from.

Most talented and best "team" aren't always the same thing....
I agree with you, but I never said anything about one of them be the "most talented". I just feel like CS is the better team. I understand why y'all are on saying Silsbee will win. If Navasota was in the game I would be saying the same things. Its great to support your team and I expect nothing less than that from everyone. If these teams played 10 games, CS would win 8 of them. Hopefully for yall, this game will be one of the 2 Silsbee would win. Good Luck and any info and game day and time yet?
-
Remember Silsbee has the edge on experience having been to the state tourney last year. If Silsbee beats CS, please feel free to login, because I am sure there will be some crow served.
No ties to College Station here, but feel they are just better team. If College Station beats Silsbee, please feel free to logout. Just playing. Should be a great game, just personally feel College Station is a far better program. They would be competing for state in 4A or 5A this year.
-
College Station should win this series whether 1 or 3 games. I admit I haven't seen Silsbee and its obvious they are a great team for making it this for. College Station has blue chippers all over the field and a 1st round draft choice in next years draft. If Silsbee can get a dominant pitching performance, anything is possible. Best of luck to both teams.

there is an ap called aggieland radio, the game yesterday was broadcast on it.
-
Hopefully he can straighten his act out here. Rattler defense should be really good this year.

Brenhamfan, what's going on with Darrion Johnson. Did he transfer to Navasota?
