1. Yeah, That one softy that transferred from Central is the Tallest player.  Before Ozen, both Central and Wesbrook kept at least 3 to 4 players that were 6'5 or better.  I remember times when we had at least 2 players at all three schools that were 6'5 or better.  But since 2005 it has went all downhill literally!
 2. Out of roughly 7000 students, there are no kids 6'5" or taller to play basketball?
 3. I was very impressed with what I saw last night.  My only issue with this team is guard scoring.  It seems like Gary, Thomas, & Hamilton will need to shoulder the scoring load.  I have a BIG problem with that.  Navy have a couple of bigs with gerth and strength and they pinned Thomas under the goal on multiple occassions, and he struggled.  Illinois though tall, none of the bigs were strong or thick!  I think he will struggle with Pitt too.  Gary is short in the post eventhough he plays big.  Hamilton can revert back to jacker at any moment!  We need Brown or Corey to step up and give this team at least 10 to 15 PPG.  I am so excited from what I saw but I also have BIG concerns! I need Lucas to slow down... Looks out of control alot.. I need Brown to make the RIGHT play and not always the fancy play! I need Corey to shoot! I need Hill and Wangmene to use all of their fouls!
 4. Its almost a wash.  The Parking better and The Butch, better band accomodations, better food, and the upper deck is really nice except for the high blind spots!  At P-Hump (Provost & Humphrey) the sunk field, the capacity, better media personel, no blind spots, and that red on the fiels is too pretty!

 6. Forget that rule!  It is time that Texas adopts a shot clock.
 7. This game will be between 20 and 35 points for either team!

Dont take this team for light because they can surprise you.  The deep ball by the Sophmore is a thing of beuty!  I do agree that the defensive scheme is not best fit for our talent.  You can't run that without a BIG, dominant nose guard, and our nose guard is pretty little!
Their smaller then you'd like to see when going Pro-set.  But not taking anything away from them, smaller is better sometimes.  Espcially in run blocking schemes. Trust me, i am not taking this team lightly...and neither will our boys or coaches.  In all honesty this will come down to which team is better coached.  Central is athletic, but so is Humble.  The talent on either side of the ball will not be the factor that wins this game.  Execution will.  i realize and respect the level of talent at Central, but it will be nullified by equal talent. Where is a good place to eat before the game?  I haven't been down to Beaumont for a game since 2007.
Floyd's is good and close to the stadium. There are also several other chain style resteraunts very close like Pappadeaux's, Cheddars, Johnny Carrino's, Joe's Crab Shack, Cracker Barrel, etc. All of those are within a mile or two of the stadium. Floyd's or Cheddars would be my choices.
NOPE!!! Either Carrabas or Tokyo!!!

 10. Well I am going to keep it real! GO JAGS! Central has not really looked polished all year!  There are moments of briliance but it is not really pretty.  The issue starts and ends with the young QB and O-line struggles.  The fumbles are a new thing and the INT's are not the real issue.  4 of the INts came in the 3 losses when we were in 100% pass.  I went to 6 games this year and saw at least 4 picks taht were deflections off recievers hands. Our O-line is very vulnerable, especially to speed off the ends. The Young QB can be rattled when the blitz is on, what else can be expected from a Sophmore (he is REALLY good though)!  WB and Memorial being the first two games really hurt Central in the stat catagory so it is hard to guage them by stats.  PNG game did not help those statistics.  PNG straight up out coched the Jags!  They knew every play and how to exploit the defensive coverage. Central actually paced well against PNG but could not finish drives.  They left at least 14 first half points on the field (A pick in the endzone and penalties that put the at 3rd and 20+ on the second)! Once behind they were one dimensional, great game plan Indians! Humble, you will need to watch out for the running game, we are good blocking down hill.  If the QB gets going early you may be on trouble, we are a big play offense!!! Defensively we got a kid that could give you fits if he is playing up to it!  We are not a big defense but we are a give not break defense!
you don't want to get provosted.... ouch. :D
[IMG][Hidden Content]]
 12. No more "L's" for us... At least not this week!!! Go Jags!

 14. I don't know what to say!!! I am lost for words (wish he was too)!!! My mouth is open  :o, and my head hurts!!!  For you all that stopped early on the read, go back and read it all!  I was like doing a crossword puzzle!! You had to really strain to understand!  WOW!!! How long did it take him to write that? [img][Hidden Content]] [IMG][Hidden Content]]
 15. Well, this is what I got from the game... Navy has a very young team so it really is not a true guage! Hamilton will be the leading scorer for this team. He is now less of a ball hog and takes better shots, but still has an ocassional flash back to jack a shot! Brown is sick in the open floor (period) but still is a little too flashy.  Just make the simple play JBrown! Joseph can run the team but he is still a work in progress.  He will get better but should have performed better against this competition! Gary Johnson is still a beast on the boards and defense! Balbay is a great defender and hasnt really lost a step Tristin Thomas is a pro!! He is a two and done!! He needs to work on his stregnth and post position.  He got shoved under the goal too much! Lucas looked much better abd will e a decent back-up PG! Wagmenne and Hill are still not polished but thanks for the 10 fouls an hustle. I am not sure about the starting line-up, but it makes the bench strong!  Balbay at the two with hill at the five makes for good D but only puts two for sure scorers on the floor.  And it showed when they stayed on 24 for a few minutes. I like Tristin off the bench though!  He can score in the post when Johnson comes off the floor.  Brown should start but he needs to cut down on the TO's!!!  The game is most fluid when he is on the court!  Joseph need to grow fast for us to be great!  They look like the 3rd or 4th place Big 12 team right now.
 16. Well PNG I know that if we had won I would be talking much trash, so I will take it!!! Good luck in the playoffs, represent well. had a crowbo (gumbo) last night!! Umm Umm good!
 17. All hail the mighty Indians of the open range in Mid County....  As I entered the camp they were all running around cold and naked... I laughed because my fur kept me so warm.  I figured I would take a bite of one of them because I was a tad bit hungry.  OH MY GOD, why did I pick that fight??? Needless to say that was my last bite; they had Jaguar ribs for dinner and a fresh new spotted blanket to keep them warm...  And those pretty brand new Jaguar teeth necklace!!!  The last thing I saw was more of my pack falling to their ravage.  The ones that got away were chasing crow because that is all that was left to eat!!! All Hail the mighty Indians!! What a scouting report by your coaching staff, not only did you guys whip us but it also seemed like you could over hear every play being called!  Great game, great game plan, great kids, and great fans!!! I would like Creole crow pasta with pickled crow’s feet!  Thank you!

Before it gets ugly'...  Whatever that means..   :D :D :D :D
Soulja!!! It means that we will be "unliked" after the game!!!   And I know "unliked" is not a word but had to make up the word to keep it cliean!!!

 21.
LOL you guys have been busy.  I find it interesting that we are playing offense and defense with races and yet not one comment regarding the point of my post.  Living in a blended cultural and multi ethnical community has its advantages.  One of these advantages is that my kids have the opportunity to be  productive members of a society by communicating with others and not having to wonder if something they said or heard really meant something else.  This is because WB benefits from the demographics in our community.  It is an environment where students can naturallly adapt to their different cultural and belief systems.  They often laugh at terms like "race card" and others while we see them as defensfe and derogarotory (sp).  My belief system at 50 years old has been enhanced and improved  by my kids because of their experiences with others in this environment.  BTW--another advantageous bi-product of Beaumonts West end diversity is that it put some much needed quickness and speed on our football field.   ;D HAGD everybody. ;)
I totally agree with you!!! This Country needs all of its parts to be its best!!!

 23. Chip's legacy was slightly tainted because he went on to play baseball.  Also, his Brook teams could stop anyone, he simply out-scored everyone.  Almost took Brook to State with just his arm and feet.  Chip was the best passeer Brook has seen and would have been a pro!!!  James was great and Landry has a championship... Ambres has evrything else!!!
