My assesment of the game was that it all came down to which team did their homework. Texas City new exactly what Dayton was going to do and Dayton took to long to adjust. Once Dayton did adjust they played Texas City well, but it was after a 21-0 spot. I've seen this to many times at BH and it kills me!! I.m not starting a coach bashing thread just my Opinion. I hated to see Dayton go down like that. Good luck broncos in your upcoming season of Basketball, Baseball & Track!!

BH sports report: I wonder if the football kids are back?? I saw where Bradshaw plyed in the last game ,but where's Mason?? Barbers Hill was limited to only 16 points in the first half as they fell on the road to Santa Fe by the score of 55-46. Brooks Ybarra lead the Eagles with 16 points. BH is now 2-2 for the year. The Eagles return to action next Tuesday when they host Port Neches-Groves.

Ross Hales BH (LHP) as a sophmore last year threw a no hitter in the playoffs against #1 State ranked Bridge City. This kid will only be stronger this year as most of the team returns for BH after going 3 rounds in last years 3A playoffs.

Boys Basketball: Barbers Hill 50 Anahuac 40 The Eagles will play on Monday against Livingston at 4/5:30/7.

From the BH sporst report The Barbers Hill freshmen team continued their winning ways as the took the championship of the Dayton 9th Grade Invitational Basketball Tournament. Their scores are: Thursday night: BH v. Beaumont Central 76-16 (I wish this was the football score ) high scorers, Ally Adams 10, Alexis Jenkins 11 Friday morning: BH v. Sterling 62-27 high scorers, Alissa Johnson 11, Katie Sweat 8 Sat. morning: BH v. Orangefield 44-22 high scorers, Courtland Sarria 12, Jill Coon 9 Sat. afternoon (championship game) BH v. Dayton 51-42 high scorers, Morgan Anderson 12, Jill Coon 8 Season Record: 7-0 Note: The JV team also won their division but I don't have the scores.

They told us not to make the playoffs beacause they didnt wanna see slap aroound those BH eagles AGAIN!

A little late for the party Nice post lets review. 1.) couldnt beat those Jaguars who Lumberton almost beat. BH almost beat them as well 2.) Guess i WAS right about 1 thing. BH IS WAAAAY OVERRATED!

No prediction from me!! Football is proven every Friday night as it will this Friday. I can't quite figure out why some teams are up and down and this year Nederland has done that. I have watched the Dogs in two games this year Lamarque and GP and both of those performances were outstanding!! But Then Ned gets beat by Vidor and destroyed by Central????? BH barley squeeks out a win against GP then Nederland beats them by 40. BC hangs 64 on Nederland then barley gets by BH?????? Point is there is no use compairing teams at this point. On Paper LC will dominate, but if Nederland comes to play they have the tools to pull the upset!! Goodluck Ned!

Friday night - Dayton/Texas City Saturday night - Toss up Central/LM or Nederland/Lamar I have already seen Central and LM and Nederland is closer and I haven't seen Lamar yet!!!!! I might just hang at Stallworth this weekend 8)

Yes it would!!! And it would be great during district to watch these teams!!!! Baytown Lee and Coach Olin in 4A would be unbelievable!!!! Of the schools in the area Baytown Lee's offense in the most intertaining to watch and if you don't have a secondary :shock:

DAYTON!!!!! I would make a prediction ,but the last one was that Crosby would atleast make it a game But I think Dayton wins by 2 tD's. I will be there with as many BH supporters that I can round up!!!!!!! We all need to have a meet and greet during the half or before the game!!! Purplepride it would be awesome if Dayton would call BH for a band!!!
