BH will have thier hands full Wednesday with the Gators! These two faced off earlier in the year (Nov. 10th, 2nd game) and the Eagles lost that game 63-53. Both teams have played alot of ball since then, so its up to who has improved the most since November. Good luck Eagles Play Hard, Play Smart.

Info. from the BH sports report. Barbers Hill 72 Rosenberg Terry 60 Barbers Hill used 3 strong scoring quarters to race past Rosenberg Terry 72-60 in a bi-district game played at Pearland High School. The Eagles will play the winner between Dickinson and Beaumont Central. BH is now 27-6 on the year. Barbers Hill came out pressing the Lady Rangers and grabbed a 19-12 first quarter lead. Terry responded quickly in the second period trimming the lead to 19-18. The Eagles responded with a couple of baskets but Terry would answer to cut the lead back to 1 or forge a tie. After Terry tied the game at 30, BH scored right before the quarter ended for 2 point half time lead. The Eagles then took control of the game in the 3rd quarter. Midway through the period, Barbers Hill used their pressure defense to score 7 unanswered points and grab a 10 point advantage. Moments later, the quarter ended with BH still holding the 10 point lead at 51-41. Terry would get no closer. Barbers Hill will take on Rosenberg Terry. Terry defeated Santa Fe 51-39. The game will be Friday 6:00 at Pearland HS. BH is the home team.

Barbers Hill will take on the winner between third place in 23-4A and the runner-up of 24-4A. 23-4A appears to be Santa Fe who has lost 3 in a row. 24-4A appears to be Terry whose only losses in district were to 27-5 Lamar Consolidated and only by 4 points each time. This will probally come back to me but, I think BH handles Crosby this go around. Last time in went into OT and BH came out on top, but it seems BH is getting stronger while Crosby has struggled the last two games. Either way it should be a good one!!!

From the BH sports report. To say that this game was over by the half would be an understatement. Barbers Hill lead 19-0 at the end of the 1st quarter and cruised to a 66-24 win over Galena Park. The Eagles are now 9-0 in District 21-4A and 20-6 for the year. Barbers Hill will host Forest Brook on Tuesday before they have to travel to Crosby to battle the second place Cougars. Your right I don't know the whole story, but regardless of what the story is you have to take a loss like you do a win!! Try to give the teams that beat you some respect instead of blamming loses on REFS! If your Coach is encouraging this as you put in another post ( The 8 against 5 saying) Then thats ridiculous as well. Take your loses and move on, You will see in life that blamming others for the performance of you team will get you know where!!
