  1. Calm down folks, Jody and I are not taking aim at Jasper, Silsbee or any other school. We just take aim at the fans that refuse to look outside of the box and assume that just because they are located in a certian region that no one can beat their teams. I like reality myself and not just makeing comments like " We will kill your team". It's about the fans folks some have the foresite of a bat and talk just because thier teams have won in the past. I always have the utmost respect for the players and schools that compete in sports. BH will get beat at some point no doubt ,but I do think they will be a worthy apponent. PS Orangeboy who's your daddy
  2. Hudson will be tough!! This will be a good one. I
  3. For those keeping score it is West of the Trinity teams 3 East of the Trinity 0!!! 1. BRIDGE CITY Still in and kicking butt 2.) SILSBEE Ousted by a much weaker BH team 3.) HUFFMAN Still in took 2 out of three from Jasper two run rules!!!! 4.) JASPER Ousted by Huffman although they haven't won as much playoff games 5.) BARBERS HILL Still in although BH played a weak schedule to pad their record. 6.) HAMSHIRE FANNETT Ousted by a weak BH team
  4. Some talk earlier this week Have your questions been answered? Like some of us have said Huffman and BH to tough for District 22 OrangeBoy Who's your daddy now??????? bullgogbark I just wonder what happened to the DOGS... didnt they know that thay were playing Huffman? Didnt they know that it was all over for the dogs? I guess they just didnt know....what a shame jdawg03 1.)who was it that said Jasper wasnt even in the same class as Huffman???..... Who let them Dawgs out???/ 2.)the comment that Jasper wasnt even in the same league or class as Huffman...thats what got me.... now of course no one from Huffman said that, so It really doesnt matter....but Huffman doesnt need BH fans to come on here and proclaim their greatness...everyone knows theyre doing that to make themselves look better because they were beaten by them twice this year. Orangeboy 1.) Silsbee will win. NO DOUBT!!!! 2.) Let those BH fans talk their crap. They'll find out who their daddy is this weekend when Silsbee lays the smack down on them. Go get'em Dawgs.
  5. ESPN I 'm shocked you have so much confidence in BH, I knew you would come out of the closet more than once this year
  6. Your killing me Are you cutting and pasting that on every thread?
  7. Barbers Hill defeated Silsbee 13-3 and 2-1 to advance to the next round against #1 ranked Bridge City. Barbers Hill got complete games from Octavio Carmona and Chase Barrera. Though Barrera had lots of runners on base at various times, he did not give up a hit. The deciding game ended up a pitching dual between BH's Chase Barrera and Silsbee's Joel Schooling. Barrera did not give up a hit. Schooling limited Barbers Hill to only one hit until the sixth when BH put together 4 after 2 were out. In the 6th, Schooling got a pop-up and a strike out before Carmona reached on an infield single. Cameron Campbell then lined a double to left center scoring Carmona. Senior Michael Padgett then singled up the middle to score Campbell. Derek Hulsey folloed with single to left before the scoring ended with a fly out to short. Barrera then got a bunt strike out and 2 ground outs to end the contest.

  16. Thanks for the support Someone on this web site has said that the last two rounds also!! BC is #1 no one from BH will argue with that. I hope BH can atleast make it a series. This will be IMHO the best 3A team BC has faced so far!
  17. What a game wish I could have been there. Thanks Coop for the Updates!!!! I hope now for those who doubted BH you can finally see that BH has a pretty good team. Next up is BC and BH goes in as a major underdog! BH would have to play the best they have ever played to threaten BC, but on any given night a team can win or lose. Great job Eagles seeya next week PS. Wheres all of the punks that said BH would lose two and out???? Come get ya some crow!! For the respectible Silsbee posters - Congrats on a good season taking District and makeing the playoffs is better than a whole lot of others. Tigers played 2 good games and Schooling pitched well. Regroup and goodluck to Silsbee next year.
  18. Here is the write up from Eagle sports. Sounds like either team was lucky to come out with a win. Well I have heard of Christmas in July but what I watched was 2 teams that seemed to have begun the gift giving much, much too early. With 5 of the 7 runs scored being unearned, Silsbee took theirs for a 4-3 win over Barbers Hill. The best of 3 series will continue Saturday at Lamar's Vincent Beck Stadium at 1 p.m. With Barbers Hill holding a 1-0 lead, Silsbee began the bottom of the 3rd with a walk. After several throws to first, the Silsbee runner took off for second moments ahead of BH pitcher Ross Hales' throw to first base. The relay to second was too late to get the runner. The batter then grounded out, sending the Tiger runner to 3rd. BH looked as though they would escape when Hales struck out the next batter and got a grounder to short. But the throw skipped past first allowing the tying run to score. The next batter hit a slow chopper behind the mound. Barbers Hill shortstop charge the ball and made a quick throw to first. But the ball once again got past first and rolled toward down the right field line. The Sisbee runner who was attempting to steal on the pitch scored easily to put Silsbee up 2-1. Barbers Hill would tie the game in the fourth on a single by Octavio Carmona, a walk to Jake Ponder and a RBI single by pitcher Ross Hales. In the 5th, a BH opportunity went by the wayside as Chase Barerra scampered all the way to third on a steal and an errant throw by the catcher. But the home plate umpire ruled that Colby Townley inteferred with the throw to second. Barerra was called out ending the inning. In the 6th, it was Silsbee's turn to gift wrap a run. Cameron Campbell was awarded a hit on a shot past the shortstop. Campbell then advanced to 2nd on a wild pitch. Two pitches later when the ball bounced in front of the catcher, Campbell scooted for 3rd. The catcher attempted to get Campbell but his throw could not be handled and Campbell raced home with putting the Eagles back in front at 3-2. In the bottom of the frame, the Tigers quickly regained the lead. The first batter reached on an other throwing error. The next batter got Silsbee 2nd and last hit with a RBI double to right center. A sacrificed bunt put the runner on third. The winning run then scored on a ground out, second to first. BH then was retired in order in the top of the 7th giving Silsbee a 1-0 lead in the match-up. For the night, BH had 3 runs on 7 hits and committed 3 costly errors. Silsbee had 4 runs with 2 hits and committed 1 error.
