That was the 1st game in 93. The 2nd game (Bi-District) was much less eventful

And before that it was Summer Creek fans...things change

Brenham went 3 rounds deep last year that's a pretty good run most years

I dont think the situation had anything to do with talent or lack thereof at Navasota but had everything to do with the school board there.

This is how I see it...Nederland won by just 1 last year I think this year's game will be close as well.

For that matter the teams out west Odessa Permian and Midland Lee when is the last time you heard about either one having a good run? Not sure on the Lee side of things but for Permian the difference is defense. When they were in the state championship picture their defense was always excellent...today not so much.

That's Nederland's strength this year is run defense. The defensive line is pretty stout. I think it'll be a close game again this year.
